It's a random generated prompt, so the idea is not my, but I kind of made it mine while writing, changing a few things.

Rose and the Doctor getting locked in a store.

(It came out more like a mall. Or a planet, you could say. But the point is the same.)

Also, warning: this is long. Way longer than what I planned. I could have stopped writing more than one time, but yet, I wrote more and more. Sorry for that, I hope it doesn't come through as forced or anything. I enjoyed it, and hope that you will as well.

Don't expect anything, there isn't even a kiss, they are barely holding hands. But it's them and they're like that. I tried, and this is what happened.

"If I'd known that we end up like that, I wouldn't have asked to come here." Said Rose looking apologetically at the Doctor.

"It's not your fault. It was a nice evening. It started as a nice evening anyway. We couldn't know it will take that long, and that. . . that person was going to hit me. . . and then you would hit him. . .then we'd try to avoid everyone until we end up stuck here." The Doctor said, summing up what happened to their evening.

"Where do you want to go next?" The Doctor asked.

"Hmm, I don't know, I'm tired." Said Rose sitting down to the seat next to the control panel. She was tired but wasn't sure about the Doctor. She really hoped that he wouldn't go on an adventure without her.

"Well, we don't have to go anywhere, so you can lay down if you want." Offered the Doctor, while leaning to the control panel.

"Not like that. I don't know, we were at a lot of places in a row, and I feel like I need a break." She said honestly, not looking up at him.

"Okay." He said, surprising Rose. "Then do you want to go to your mother?" He asked, but hoped for a 'no'. He didn't want to go there but hoped that, if Rose wanted to, he didn't sound annoyed.

"I know you don't want to go there, but I would like to see her, actually." Rose tried to put her thoughts into words, it would be good to see her.

The Doctor saw on Rose that she really was tired, and it was totally normal that she wanted to see her mother. He couldn't blame her and wanted her to be as happy and energetic as she used to be, so he decided to do something good for her.

"It's okay, we can go if you want to." He said with a smile, trying to make her happier. She was more important than him anyway.

"One more thing. You know, I wanted to bring her something. Because her birthday is near, and I wanted to give her something special." Said Rose with a little volume, trying not to bother her friend even more, what she felt like she was doing, with a nervous smile.

"Oh. In that case, there is one more stop before we go to her." Said the Doctor then turned to the console and started pushing buttons while talking to her. "There is a planet near here, the biggest shopping centre in the universe. It's full with a lot of supermarkets and smaller shops and traders, you can find there anything, everything really." He stopped for a moment. "Expect weapons, of course." He said, then turned to face Rose, once again, smiling. "Shall we go then?" He asked, Rose nodded and he pulled the last lever, the handbrake.

When they arrived they both fell to the ground. The Doctor stood up, then helped Rose up. He grabbed her hand and pulled her to the door, where he stopped to get up his coat. Then he opened the door for them, and after Rose, he stepped out.
