Don't Mess With Family

New Start

~~A year later

After months of therapy and a series of more surgeries, I am finally back to my normal self, well kinda. So this was what happened after I woke up. Besides weeks of therapy, the crew and I did some small jobs, not to major because Colette and Ashton worries that I'll get hurt again.

The twins and I worked on upgrading the garage bigger and well, our luck turn when many investors came in. Despite them knowing my last name, they believed in me and I couldn't disappoint them. That's right, I'm not hiding my true name. I knew Hobbs was going to find me but he owes me a favour and that my life is to be erased of any files found in the FBI. Anyways, the four of us actually finished school and got our PhDs and degrees.

Colette started to work with the government but she stopped after the crew and I decided to take a break from work and all the small jobs given. We drove through or more like raced through Europe and the Middle East. We also made a stop to visit Dom and Elena. Dom was happy that I'm doing well and that I've grown into this beautiful woman. His words, not mine. Everytime I brought up about the strange man, he ignores me and tells me that hell tell me the truth the next so I eventually gave up.

After visiting Dom and Elena, we drove to Indonesia where Brian and Mia were. Mia gave birth to little Jack two months back if I'm not wrong. Dom, Elena, the crew and I were there to witness all of it. I'm so happy that have a nephew. Jack is so cute and now, that we all swore to never go back to our old life, I'm hoping that we'd see more of one another.

As for Colette and I, we decided not to get engaged and just let our relationship grow more. This is because, we've spent so long just being friends and so, taking the next step in our relationship needs to be good. I won't lie and say that Colette and I have been arguing but it's always resolved by the end of the day or at least the next day.

Ashton found a girlfriend. Yeah, her name's Emma Goldsworthy. She was an agent for the UK government but she decides to step down after her father passed on. We gladly welcomed her into our crew and its not very often we see Ashton get lost in his own happiness. He's always taken care of us and is our mediator in the crew but now that he has Emma, his life got 100 times better.

The twins are currently too busy and they kept on saying that they are not ready for a relationship. Miles is too busy trying to manage our garage business while Mike, well, he's turning into a player. With all the money we got from the previous heist, he spent it almost all on strip clubs and booze. Miles tries his best to help him but Mike refuses.

All of us tried to intervene but it's no use when he himself doesn't want to accept the help we offer him to get better. Besides drowning himself in alcohol and playing around with girls, he often spends his time in the gym that we have in our basement. Right, yeah, we agreed to upgrade our house into a bigger one just in case. We have a 5 story house now. A basement for the gym and movie theatre, the first floor is the living area and where the garage is for our cars, the second floor for the twins. They have four rooms in total. Each has two of their own and in their bedroom, they have their private bathroom.

The third is for guests, don't get me wrong, the living area does have two extra bedroom but we decided that the third floor would mainly be for the guests, if we have any. There are four room there, two of them are masters while the other two have a smaller space.

The fourth story is for Ashton. He and Emma have a room together but he still has one extra guest room just in case people need a room. The other room, he uses it for whatever. He shares it with Emma so, I'm guessing, it's an office space.

The last level is for Colette and I. We have a total of five rooms. Our master bedroom, her tech office, my own private space, the attic and an empty room for future use. We're not sure who's it for but I've been meaning to bring it up with her.
