George turned to look into the backseat, sapnap and techno were both asleep, techno had finally set his weapon down after hours of paranoia, after all they had been driving for almost 20 hours with little to no break despite the much needed urination stops.
"Dream" george mumbled, sleepily wiping his eyes. "Yes george?" "I don't feel great" he held his stomach, resting his head against the head rest of the seat, keeping his eyes on dream. Dream frowned reaching his hand out, he grabbed georges planting a gentle kiss on it before letting it rest on georges lap, his left hand still on the wheel as he focused on the road "What's the matter love?" "just feel a bit rubbish" "sickly?" "mhm" george nodded "oh baby, cuddles when we get home, i promise" "how long" george whined slightly "about an hour or so, i promise" "mhm, okay, can i go to sleep" "of course love, get some rest" "Thank you baby" george turned over, resting his head against the cold window and shutting his eyesz

Before long dream had pulled into the gates of lmanberg, george was still sound asleep whilst techno and sapnap sat wide-eyed in the back seat, dream hushed them pointing to george as the group got out, leaving george to rest.
"David!" Wilbur exclaimed rushing over "Hello William" "Wilbur" "Right, take me to the other members of the board and we can begin plotting some type of plan" Techno pulled his Ak up, wilbur nodded quickly alerting a guard to notify Puffy and Bad.
"I see you have somebody new" Sam chuckled, his weapon hanging loosely in his hands. "An old friend that was stuck in iowa" Dream smiled "Hey, i'm sam" He stuck a hand out to shake sapnaps, yet sapnap didn't accept it "He's mute at the moment" "Oh, Iowa wasn't good for him then" "No" Dream frowned slightly, shaking his head. "I'm sure he'll get along with callahan" Sam chuckled, lightheartedly "Callahan? the deaf baker. Ha mute not deaf sam" Dream laughed playfully pushing the guard he had become friendly with. "Alright, well i'll take you over to the apartments and you can get well rested, sound good?" Sam smiled looking towards sapnap Sapnap nodded with a hopeful smile, "Nick" he mumbled "Pardon?" "Nick" He was slightly louder "Your names Nick?" Sam smiled Sapnap nodded "Well Nick, let's get going, bye dream!" Sam waved walking off with sapnap following, sapnap turned back for a second, dream giving a gentle nod of reassurance.
Dream walked to the passenger side of the car, opening the door and unlatching georges seatbelt, he slide his arms beneath him, lifting him.
Georges head fell gently into Dreams shoulder, nuzzling into his neck. Dream shut the door and began walking to the apartment.

He got through the front door, placing george on the bed and stretching his arms.
Dream unhooked his belt and slid it off, taking his jeans quickly down, replacing them with a pair of grey sweats whilst his shirt came over his head and was discarded to the floor, he got into bed beside george, lifting Georges frame slightly to take his dirty shirt off, also discarding it to the floor.
Dream kissed georges forehead in a gentle manner as he ran his hands over georges arms whilst he admired the boy, his hands brushing over georges stomach, stopping upon feeling something unusual.
He lifted the duvet slightly, his eyes catching it.
A small unusual growth, representing fungi just above the right side of his belly button. below it was a deep blue, which had seemed to be slowly spreading, dream almost fell out of the bed in shock.
He knew that the Z's were caused by some type of fungi infestation, remaining scientists assumed it was ophipcordyceps unilateralis, caused by the usage of cordyceps within the covid vaccine which was used to prevent inflammation upon injection.
However fungal growth hasn't been seen on living humans, some of the Z's had slight fungal growth upon them, however nothing serious. Usually just a growth up their arms, legs or stomach.
Dream brushed his hand over it, the roughness against his skin, it was peculiar for dream to see, small fly agaric fungi growing, merely stumps at the current moment.
Dream cupped georges face brushing his thumb gently over his cheek, looking over to the sleeping boy with a frown.
He lay back down, resting his arm over georges chest, exhausting taking over him before he even got the chance to fight it.
