Chapter 3 | now in its place is something new

"Come on! You'll be fine!" One of Y/n's roommates, Ash, pressured with a whine, dragging the poor girl into the club.

She was hoping to get some good shuteye that night but unfortunately was being forced to the club with her roommates.

It was their way of 'including' the girl as they felt bad for her always being alone.

She brushed it off and told them she'd preferred it that way but somehow they just couldn't get the memo.

"You just have to loosen up, come on, for me? I know you've been really stressed lately so I just thought you could have some time for yourself" Ash sighed, pouting slightly.

Y/n stared at her.

She didn't mean any harm, Y/n knew that.

It was sweet how they always wanted to have her feel included, even if it wasn't really her way of 'having fun'.

"I guess I could take a break, but just for tonight ok?" Y/n sighed, brushing her hair away from her face as if to freshen up.

"Really!?" Ash jumped and her two other roommates stared at each other with giddy smiles.

"Yeah yeah.." Y/n smiled.

Ash had jumped into her arms with a squeal before pulling her to a free table by the walls.

Y/n and Nelly, stayed at the table watching Ash and Tessa dance, considering the two were more secluded out of the four roomies.

"God do they ever run out of energy?" Nelly laughed, taking another shot.

Y/n snickered softly as her eyes scanned around the room.

They locked straight onto a familiar blonde and Y/n froze, paralyzed.

The blonde seemed to notice her too and they both stared at each other with shock.

'WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!?' They screamed at each other telepathically.

Nelly watched in confusion as the two raised their eyebrows and made faces as if talking in their own facial language.

"Do you know that guy?" She asked, startling Y/n as she'd forgotten her friend had been sitting right next to her.

"Uh yeah actually, that's Albedo.." Y/n explained sheepishly, taking a shot as she spoke to calm her nerves.

"Oh! Albedo! He looks so different far away" Nelly smiled, gently bumping her glass against Y/n's.

Suddenly Y/n felt anxious, having seen Albedo, she didn't want him to see her as the type of person to go out drinking on a daily..

"You okay?" Nell asked, watching Y/n drink more and more than she had before.

Y/n's eyes shot to her with a hum and Nelly cringed at the growing red in her cheeks.

"Maybe you should settle back on the drinking.." she laughed, though her concern grew as Y/n declined her generous offer to have yet another sip of Ash's strong liquor.

"I'm great"

Albedo watched with worry as Y/n danced in the crowds, laughing with her friends.

He knew how much her roommates would drag her out to drink, he knew how much Y/n hated any sort of social grouping too...

At least she looked like she was having a good time...

Then again, by the bright red in her cheeks, Albedo would've guessed she was already blackout drunk.

Oh no..

Albedo thought to himself, watching the four girls strut over to the bar.

There were two guys following them, Y/n and Tessa very much over whatever they had to say.
