"That was an amazing dinner!" Mrs Shirakumo commented, once they were finished with all five courses of the meal. Y/N was so full she thought she was going to fall into a food coma at any point now. And she was also annoyed. This entire dinner had just been digs and jabs from Shouta's mother and some inconsiderate remarks from Oboro's parents, while she was trying to stay calm as best as she could. It was so fucking exhausting, Y/N couldn't do it for much longer.

"It really was great." Y/N agreed with a smile, before turning to Shouta. She wasn't really sure whether this was a smart idea, but no one could fault her for doing this, right? It was her job, after all.

"Shou, are you done?" she asked him and pointed to his plate. Shouta gave her a confused look and nodded. Y/N stood up and put his plate on top of hers, before looking over at the Shirakumos.

"What about you?"

"Uhm... yeah, we're done, I think..." Mrs Shirakumo said, still looking confused. Of course none of them had ever done the dishes themselves. Y/N wasn't sure if she should laugh or cry.

"What are you doing?" Shouta's mother wanted to know. Y/N gave her an innocent smile, as she gathered up the Shirakumos' plates.

"Oh, I'm just bringing the plates over into the kitchen. Saves me some work tomorrow." she answered.

"Why would you do that? The cleaner... oh." Shouta's mother replied. She seemed incredibly embarrassed about letting that slip. Y/N grinned. So she had just admitted that she did forget Y/N was actually their cleaner. This was beautiful. If she didn't realize how dumb she had been acting all this time by now, then there was truly no help for her anymore. Y/N took up the plates.

"You should really be happy I'm working for free right now." she told her with a laugh, before giving her a questioning look and nodding towards her plate. She looked completely dumbfounded.

"Oh, uhm... yeah, I'm done." she said to her quietly. Y/N smiled and took her plate, putting it on top of the other plates. It was a little awkward feeling all those eyes on her, but this was more to make a statement, than for anything else, really. She gathered up the plates on her arm.

"Do you want me to bring anything from the kitchen? Some wine for you, maybe? I know Shouta and I aren't old enough to drink yet." she replied. As if anyone actually believed they had never drank alcohol before. But if she wanted to make a good impression, she might as well go all out.

"Uhm... if you don't mind, there should be a bottle of red wine..." Shouta's mother mumbled. She seemed really embarrassed. Perfect. Just the way Y//N had wanted this to go - Shouta's mum making herself look dumb.

"Sure, I'll bring that out." she answered and quickly made her way into the kitchen where Takeshi was just cleaning up the place a little. She was glad to get a bit of a break from everyone.

"Evening, Takeshi." she greeted him, as she made her way into the kitchen with the plates in her arm.

"Y/N? Don't you look fancy, huh? How's the situation out there?" he wanted to know. Y/N smiled.

"It's good. It's really exhausting, though. God, I wanted to punch people in the face so badly all evening." she replied with a sigh. Takeshi laughed and took the plates out of her hands and put them in the sink.

"I can imagine. I just hope you're not gonna go and forget where you came from with all this." he said.

"No way. You've known me long enough, Takeshi. And Shouta and I will be at another protest on the weekend, so I'd say if anything it'll go the opposite way. By the way, that was some excellent food. Compliments to the chef." Y/N commented with a grin on her face. Takeshi chuckled.
