Once I got out of the shower, I grabbed something to eat and hung out with the boys just talking about random things while watching TV and scrolling through twitter. About three hours later I decided to go to bed and Carlos and James and Dustin were leaving to go back to their busses. I woke up to Logan tapping my shoulder, “Kendall get up!”

I opened my eyes squinting at him in the light that he turned on. “What time is it?”

“Like 8:15 we have an interview in an hour,” he lowered his voice so only I could hear, “and I think your sisters up, but she won’t come out or talk to me so…”

“Okay,” I replied getting out of my bunk and heading to the bathroom. I got washed up and changed my clothes before looking for Jes. She was still in her bunk just kind of laying there. She didn’t say anything when I opened the curtain, so I spoke, “Good morning sunshine.” I said smiling. She just gave me a look and rolled her eyes. “Do you want to get up and have some breakfast?” The fact that she hadn’t eaten a normal serving of food in like two or three days really scared me.

“Not really,” she replied. “

Too bad then,” I replied, “you are getting up and eating breakfast.” “

Nooooo,” she whined,

“Yes, now come on.” I said motioning for her to get up. I would try to drag her out but I didn’t want to hurt her since I knew she hadn’t completely healed.

“Fine.” She said while slowly scooting out. She grabbed her one change of clothes and went to the bathroom.

I smiled, glad she got up and went to the front of the bus where there was breakfast foods set out and Logan was sitting on the couch eating toast and bacon and eggs, while texting. I grabbed my favorite cereal, holy crap, and some milk making myself a bowl. I started eating and Jessie came out. I put my bowl down on the table and asked, “What do you want to eat? We have cereal,”

I motioned to my bowl, “what is it?” she asked skeptically,”

“It’s called holy crap.”

She giggled at that, “it looks disgusting,” she stated.

Logan looked up from his phone when she said this, “Ha!” he shouted, “told you man! Nice one, high five Jessie!” He held up his hand and she gave him a high five.

“Yeah yeah,” I replied, “Ok so we have toast too and bacon and eggs and anything you see you can eat.”

“Okay,” she replied, “I’ll have a piece of toast.”

“Is that all?” I asked disappointed.

“Yeah, I’m not hungry,”

“You said that last night when you skipped dinner and yesterday when you didn’t eat lunch.” She didn’t reply she just kind of stared at me. “Okay, fine you can just eat toast but you have to eat a real lunch, okay?” “Kay,” she whispered softly as I handed her the toast.

By the time she was finished we had to go do the interview. “Jessie, we have to go into the venue to do the interview. Do you want to come or do you just want to stay here until we are finished?”

“Are there going to be a lot of people?”

“Uh, I’m not sure, I guess, the camera men, the interviewer, the crew setting up the stage, the—”

She interrupted me, “okay I’ll stay here.”

“Are you sure?” I asked.

“Yes.”
