"I have a hunch we'll be seeing her very soon." Sicillian rubbed her head. The sentence had struck her rather particularly. Firstly because of the word hunch, which obviously in her life had related mainly to holistic experiences. But secondly and more subtly, Samantha said 'We'll be seeing her very soon'. Not I'll be seeing her soon, as one might expect a person who misses another might say.

If she voiced this aloud, she knew it would be shot down like her theories of a setup after she came back in the room. She could practically hear Todd saying: 'She's just selfless'. But that made no sense. Why would they be interested in seeing Clarabelle anyway? Admittedly, the Hollistic duo were, but from the ginger's perspective, they shouldn't know who it is. And there's a key fact that humans are fundamentally selfish creatures, thinking of themselves, always.

"You okay?" She nudged Dirk slightly, noticing his somber expression.

"I don't know." He sounded worryingly unsure, avoiding eye contact as he resolutely stated at Mona in the form of one of the Chinese waving cat statues.

"I must confess... I'm scared." She whispered. This caught the brit's attention, and not in a good way. Sicillian Presque was never scared. Not even when they confrontated Ken in Blackwing eight months ago. She stood her ground. If she was even a little bit skittish, that didn't bode well for the rest of them.

"So am I." He reached over, squeezing her hand. In his mind, the green eyed American's theories of a setup made some sort of sense. She had valid arguments, and Dirk was also weary for Blackwing, helping him to spot more connections she couldn't.

It was then Mona made an appearance, transforming from the statue and hopping down nex to them. Sicillian smiled at her friend, but was unable to keep the worry from the back of her mind. It was always there, toying with her.

"For the record, I don't think you sound crazy." The shapeshifter's voice floated through the air. The brunette muttered a small thank you.

"Well neither do we," Todd called from the hall, shutting the front door, "We just think you're being a little too cautious." Him and Farah must have returned from their walk.

"I mean after everything we've been through, why shouldn't she be?" The bodyguard seemed to be taking a stance that surprisingly leant towards the Hollistic duo's opinion. "Go on, Sicillian. We want to hear what you have to say." The green eyed American raised her head in shock. She wasn't expecting that.

"Okay. I'll start with the facts. Clarabelle Lynch is a former Blackwing subject, known to both me and Dirk. Her going missing is almost certainly connected to them. Samantha Wilson, for reasons unknown, took three weeks to report her gone." She stood up a little straighter, feeling more confident as everyone appeared to be listening. "On the subject of her, both of us," She gestured to the brit, "Think there's something off about her. Everything seems a little forced, like she's trying to blend in."

"Why would she be trying to blend in?"

"I don't know. But then there's the state of Clara's apartment. The Rowdy Three haven't been in Seattle for months, else Amanda would have come to visit, and the inconsistencies in the style of attack lead me to believe it's staged." She finished with a deep breath.

"Nicely done, darling." Dirk wrapped an arm round her appreciatively.

"Todd, I hate to say it, but it kind of makes sense." The dark haired woman spoke slowly, so as not to upset the ex bellhop.

"I agree." Mona added. This was an especially useful opinion, as it came from an outsider's view. The Hollistic Actress hadn't been traipsing around Clarabelle's apartment, and had no bias one way or another.
