When the door to her sleeping quarters was ripped of its hinges, Sicillian did not expect to see Dirk Gently on the other side. His smile practically lit up the already neon illuminated room upon seeing her, his eyes softening. The brunette almost forgot how to breath, seeing him there in front of her. Crowded behind him were the Rowdy Three, Farah, Todd Mona and Amanda.
"What are you doing here?" She asked quietly, not quite believing her eyes.
"You always go on about saving me," He laughed slightly, "I thought I'd return the favour." The Hollistic Assistant didn't even try to contain the compassion inside her as she embraced the brit. Sicillian leant her head against his chest for a moment, before reaching up and connecting their lips even for just a second.
"Oi, there rest of us are here too." Todd coughed awkwardly, watching the romantic exchange with raised eyebrows.
"Give it a break." Amanda frowned, hitting her brother's arm affectionately. He glared before shutting up.
"I can't believe you all came..." The American Assistant looked from person to person.
"What did you expect?" Mona smiled the widest. The black haired shapeshifter in particular seemed excited to have the brunette back. The others were also painted with faces of joy, but the ravenette drummer seemed a little disconnected. There was concern etched into her face, grin not quite reaching her eyes.
"We don't got much time. We need to skedaddle outta here asap." Martin urged, pushing his dusty glasses up his nose. Without so much as a hesitation, Dirk took Sicillian's hand, gesturing with his other for them to go.
"So what's the plan?" Stealth had never been the group's strong point, meaning the green eyed woman was too surprised to hear alarms and yells blazing in the corridors. The eleven of them tried to stick close to the wall, but the group size made it hard to sneak.
"Well we're getting you out of here, obviously?" Farah turned back to the American, a confused look on her face.
"I know, but what about the others? Ken's been tracking them all down in the last few months. We can't just leave them here." Sicillian was dead set on that. She wouldn't let any of them be left behind.
"Sissy, we can't risk it-"
"They're people too!" The Hollistic Assistant hissed, eyes angry. "My friends. We can't leave them."
"Something's changed about you." Dirk frowned slightly. "You're more... I don't want to say confident, because you're always confident, moreover, willing to take a gamble." She had to hand it to him, his observations were astute. The brunette's recent developments of her new abilities had cranked up her esteem tenfold. She could get them out of this.
"They discovered a new facet to my adaptations. I can take on other Blackwing subject's abilities." The group froze, turning to collectively look at her like a comedic moment in a sitcom. Only this wasn't comedic or a sitcom because they were escaping a CIA facility.
"You can what?" Vogel was, as ever, overexcited and loud. Farah in particular winced at the high volumes of his voice. Instead of replying, the Hollistic Assistant elected to show her friends. She didn't try anything flashy, more just making a small flame appear in her hand before extinguishing it in the blink of an eye.
"Shit!" Dirk exclaimed, shocked and proud of the green eyed woman.
"That's insane." Amanda commented with wide eyes. She hadn't seen this in her visions before and it provided her a little hope of the group's safety. Although not a lot. The image of the brit's lifeless body was still prevalent in her mind.
