Caden came and knocked again telling us to hurry up we had work to do. We ignored him until we both came and then we laid there for a few moments my head on his chest, his arms around my waist, and him still inside me.
"You got a little feral there, I think we need to see if you can shift. It's not common for females but you my dear witch are something special."
I chuckled and clench causing him to growl and grab my arms bringing me face to face with him.
"As much as I want to stay inside you all day we do have matters to attend to. But be sure that I will be inside you as much as I possibly can."
I smiled and kissed him and then we both got up. I dressed in yesterdays clothes and went to relieve myself, when I came back he left and I took a quick "wipe down whores bath" then got dressed for the day. We met Caden and Alania at the breakfast table along with Cassie, Mina, and Darien. All three kids were at awe at the food that was on the table and you could hear their stomachs rumbling.

"Eat children, please your rumbling stomachs can be heard all the way over here, besides we can't eat all of this."

Alania smiled at the children who looked at her and then dove into the food. We all had a sad smile on our faces as we watched the children eat the food, I'm hoping that the other children are eating as well as these three are. Marcus and I sit and fix us a plate, deciding to wait until after breakfast to speak with the kids. Once everyone was done then we started telling Cassie and Mina what was to be expected here soon.

"King Julian has begun repairing the temples, Cassie you are a priestess found by the Beloved by Luna's command, you will need a guardian to escort you and stay with you at the temple. We will also send more Lycans to act as guardians for you as well, but the first you need to choose yourself."

"That would be me Beta, she is my sister it is my job to protect her, and give my life for her if needed. So I will go with her."

Cassie and Marcus both had a smile that was directed towards Mina, and Darian set his fork down and looked between Caden and Marcus.

"Betas I know you want me to go with you and train, after I have finished can I come back here and be a guardian for Cassie? I would feel a lot better being close."

Caden smiled and looked at Marcus, both their eyes glazed over and after a few moments they both nodded towards Darian who smiled and seemed to relax a little. We finished eating, sat conversing in small talk, asking about parents and about the other children. Soon a commotion could be heard outside.

"Ah the reinforcements are back, lets go greet them shall we?"

Once outside we saw several Lycans and a group of women dressed in what looked like nun habits. The group of women came and curtsied in front of Alania and myself.

"Well wishes from us to the Beloved and the chosen of Luna's blessed women. She came to us all in a dream and told us to prepare to embrace the children. Something is coming and we are prepared and ready for anything."

We both bowed to them in acknowledgment and they stood smiling and then turned to Caden and Marcus and bowed their heads.

"Please direct us to what needs to be done respected Betas and we shall begin our task."

Caden took them towards the elders home to introduce them to the children, I also noticed a few scraggly adults walking towards the house, I'm guessing that they are some of the parents. Marcus came up behind me and leaned close inhaling my scent and sending shivers all down my spine.

"We should take the priestess and her guardians to the temple Beloved, I will feel safer once they are there with a guard,"

I nodded and we turned towards Cassie and Mina, Darian had went towards the sisters to help with introductions, we walked to collect him and then with 10 Lycans we made our way to the temple. The kings men had done a lot to make it habitable, there was still a lot of work left to be done, but living and eating quarters were ready. We all toured the area and the children picked out their sleeping arrangements, once that was done Marcus and Caden took Darian towards a training area that was being readied. Alania and I continued to walk with the girls, listening to their questions and answering to the best of our abilities. We made our way to the western most side and looked at the beautiful meadow that spread on for miles. Wildflowers of several colors made what looked like sheets of color that painted the ground. Suddenly there was a beautiful woman walking our way, she was a little shorter than me, porcelain skin, long black hair and her eyes showed love. I could hear everyone come to stand behind us and drop to one knee. Alania kneeled as well as Mina but Cassie and I linked hands and walk a few feet to meet her.

"I am so glad that you have found another priestess, and she is definitely worthy of that title. I have just come from visiting with Dana, her kisses will weaken even the toughest of men. Cassie do you know what you must do? How important you are to our future?"

Cassie smiled and nodded and let my hand go so she could take Lunas hand, and once they were holding hands a shining aura surrounded them and deafened the rest of us from what they spoke. Cassie's face was serious as she listened and nodded her head to Luna's wishes. After a few moments they both returned to where the rest of us stood. As Luna's eyes met Marcus' he put his head down, reddened from his blush.

"I could not have asked for a better mate to my Beloved, but be wary Marcus, some may try to come between the two of you, be on your guard. Also explain to her what is in yours and your Lycans heart, I can tell you now she will be happy! Now my Beloved you have one more child to find before you meet the King and his seer, but she will be at the camp they have settled at. No longer is the King and Queen at the capital, they wait for you and your companions at their camp, leave here today and you shall reach them by tomorrow. I am so proud of all of you."

With that she was gone, there one moment and then, poof, gone the next. Everyone around hummed in peace and all the Lycans shifted and howled out their love for their Goddess. Once back in human form we all walked back to the temple quarters, Caden had already assigned men to stay as guards to the temple and set two into to town to get supplies needed for Cassie and Miana to began staying here in comfort. We spoke with them and the told us they would be careful and follow the guards commands so that no one gets hurt. Darian took a little longer to say his goodbyes and when he came to Miana he kissed her cheek and squeezed her hands. Caden could be heard chuckling as Alania slapped him playfully telling him to leave the young children with obvious crushes alone. With Darian in our group we walked back to town to ready ourselves to leave. Alania and I separated from the guys and got supplies and much needed things for Darian, we also made sure to speak with the sisters before returning to the inn where the guys had everything packed and ready.

"Here Darian, go change into theses clothes and shoes, they will be better for traveling, and we will have lunch before we head out."

Darian smiled shyly at Alania and thanked her before going to a room and changing. Once done we all loaded up the cart and began our journey to the Betas camp.

"What is marking?"

I asked Marcus who walked beside me brushing my hand with his every chance he got, finally he held my hand and I smiled up at him, but the look he gave me was serious.

"When we meet our mate, or someone we choose to be our mate we mark them. Humans see it as us biting the one we love, but it is more than that. Our bites have venom in them and can be deadly if we inject too much, marking your mate means biting your mate and sharing your venom with each other. Once marked it heals into something like a tattoo, but it forms the bond between the two. It's usually something representing each separately but combined together. It is painful for a moment before turning into pleasure. Marking is not something done lightly, its done when two people have accepted each other and never want another or to be apart. It also opens the minds of each person to their marked mate, so say you were in trouble and I marked you, I would be able to find you and tell what was wrong, I would feel your pain, and speak with you mind to mind."

I listened to what he told me and a tingling began in the crook of my neck radiating out towards my finger tips. My body called out for him and suddenly he wasn't close enough. I now knew what "marking" was and all I wanted was to be marked by Marcus. I looked at him and was about to say something but he started first.

"Don't respond just yet, think on it, and if you are willing to accept my mark then we will go some place with more privacy and do it, but for now be sure you want to be with me."

I stopped walking and pulled him to me reaching up to him on my toes

"I already know that I want you, I am okay with being by your side for always, I don't think you understand how I feel Marcus, I am drawn to you , something tugging in my soul brings me to you. But for you I will think about it more, besides I need to be sure you are okay with me marking you as well."
