Training with Puffy finally came with the sun. To be completely honest, Y/n wasn't really looking forward to it after getting little to no sleep, but she still wanted to do it regardless. She knew she had to do it, her skills needed to get better.
The two departed at the river, both secretly wishing they could stay longer. Y/n headed home to change into her armor. Today they would go to enchant it in the city before actual training. She didn't know much about the city, she'd only been a few times before, and it's been a while since she went.
But one thing she knew was that there was a particular unsettling in her nation involving a particular area of the city... L'manburg. Many stories came from there... talk of independence, war, rebellion, and who knows what else.
"Y/n!" An all too familiar voice came from the entrance of her house. She looks up to see Nick at her front door with Bad.
"Hey!," She quickly runs up to him, giving a tight embrace before letting go. "How was the trip?"
"It was good, but pretty tiring."
Bad rolled his eyes at Nick for being his overdramatic self. It was a relaxing trip, nothing that would make one tired.
"I missed you Bad. I'm going to the city today to enchant some armor with Puffy."
"Ah, that sounds like fun, I wish I could go, but I have to meet up with Skeppy soon. Miss you too." A disappointed frown grew on his face.
"It's fine, maybe next time, don't stress about it."
"Hey, I want to come, can I?" Puppy eyes formed on his face as she rolled her eyes at him.
"Yes Sapnap, you can come." They both laughed and entered the house, waving goodbye to Bad. Y/n walked over to her mother who was seated in her rocking chair, once again, working on the red beanie, and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Well Sapnap it's been a while, you coming with us?" Puffy greeted him. A few items were scattered on the kitchen table, what Y/n Puffy was taking to the interior of the city.
"I know I know, and yeah I wanted to come with you both."
"Sounds great! Y/n just go get your armor while I get some other things." Puffy went down to their inventory room to gather some other things to take.
Y/n quickly climbed up the stairs to her room to put on her netherite armor. It gleamed in the sunlight, blinding her for a few seconds. She quickly put it on and grabbed her weapons, putting them into a saddle pack. Finally, she grabbed her sheath of arrows, put it on her back, and grabbed her bow walking out of the door.
The three walked over to the stables to get the horses. They only had two, so Sapnap and Y/n would have to share. Y/n put the saddlebag on her horse Ivy, a beautiful, strong, black coated horse.
"Want me to ride in front?"
"No no, I got it. Just hold on tight, we're going to go pretty fast." No way would she trust Sapnap with her horse, she internally laughed at that.
Sapnap got on the horse and wrapped his arms around Y/n's waist, tightly holding on.
"I have some business to resolve in the city, so you two go enchant and I'll meet up with you later." Puffy started galloping towards the city's direction.
"Okay!"
The wind blew on their faces as the mare ran through the maze of trees. It exhilarated Y/n, the fresh air, the nature, this made her happy. She needed this.
Finally, they reached the city. They stopped and tied Ivy to a tree with a lead, making sure to leave some food and water for her.
"It's been a long while since I've come..."
