day 5;chapter 1

my alarm rings
it's finally friday, and i would be happy, but over the weekend i'll be having to see kazuichi
i hadnt washed my uniform in a while and it was super dirty. i usually dont let it get this bad.
I ended up stealing natsumis perfume that she barely uses and spraying it all over myself
it doesn't smell bad, just a little strong. but i'd rather smell like roses than sweat.
peko greets me and hands me my lunch and brekfast
i noticed that everyone is at home except hiyoko.
fuyuhiko:"wheres hiyoko?"
natsumi:"she already left a while ago"
fuyuhiko:"oh, i see.."
after i finished eating i left to go to school along with natsumi, peko, and miu
i sat down at my desk in the classroom once again
but i cant stop staring at him
im not glaring at him out of anger.. im staring at him for a totally different reason
teacher:"fuyuhiko, can you solve this equation for us?"
fuyuhiko:"m-maybe?"
everyone in the class laughs
fuyuhiko:"SHUT UP!"
i walk up to the board and start solving
fuyuhiko:"there."
teacher:"that answer is... totally wrong! were you even paying attention? go back to your seat."
as i walk back to my seat, the humiliation grows stronger and stronger. everyone is staring at me.
but not kazuichi.
hes staring at her
sonia nevermind
why cant it be me?
why am i getting jealous?
i promised myself to get over him, yet i get jealous so easily.
im back at my seat
i just need to stop being jealous
easier said then done though..
after class ill just go home
i dont need to see kazuichi
and he doesnt need to see me
he can hang out with sonia or what ever
im not obligated to give him the job so i should just..
i forgot that i cant just leave, he has my phone after all. and i still need to meet up with him

after school was over i waited for him at the gate
i saw kazuichi running toward me, with my phone in hand
he had a huge and confident smile on his face
he ran up to me, panting
kazuichi: "haaah...here... i think...i think it works!"
fuyuhiko:"we'll see."
i take my phone from his hands and power it on
it takes a second, but it works
i punch in my passcode and to my suprise...
everything looks good. no data was lost.
fuyuhiko:"well.. it certainly works.. congrats, youre gonna work under the kuzuryu clan."
kazuichi jumped in excitement and grabbed my hands
kazuichi:"thank you so much!! youre the best, bro!!"
he hugged me
hes a bit taller than i am, so my face was practically buried in his chest
i pushed away, even though it felt quite nice
fuyuhiko:"i-i get it, i get it!! youre happy!! but dont think this job is going to be an automatic cash cow!"
kazuichi:"right, i know!! im just happy to have a source of income!"
fuyuhiko:"right, but i recommend that you get a part time job. maybe retail or fast food. think about this logically. lets say my washing machine is broken and i tell you to fix it. you fix it successfully and i pay you 11,000 yen. yes thats a lot of money, but then you have to wait until another thing in my house breaks. and that can take anywhere from a week to a year. see why im telling you to get another job?"
kazuichi:"WHAT? so was all of that begging for nothing?"
fuyuhiko:"it wasnt for nothing, you still got the job, didnt you?"
kazuichi:"i guess.."
kazuichi pouted
i couldnt help but smile
as unprofessional as he is, you can tell that he isn't lazy
fuyuhiko:"ill be going now, see you whenever."
kazuichi:"wait- you havent payed me for the repair i did for your phone!"
fuyuhiko:"that was a test to see if you were fit for the job, of course im not gonna pay you!"
kazuichi whimpered
kazuichi:"b-but i spent all night fixing it.."
i ignored him and went home

i came home to peko, miu, and natsumi having dinner
i put my stuff down and went towards the table
fuyuhiko:"wheres hiyoko?"
natsumi:"that little bitch is with mahiru, she's trying to avoid you."
peko:"shes supposed to be home soon, grab a plate and get some food, you must be hungry."
fuyuhiko:"alright."
i grabbed a plate and sat down
on the table were several containers with rice and sushi, im assuming its take out
i put some of the food on my plate and started eating, i was starving
miu:"im assuming you met up with that pink haired cunt again?"
natsumi:"ohh, did you guys make out?"
fuyuhiko:"shut up! its nothing like that! he just wants to work under me!"
peko:"did you hire him?"
fuyuhiko:"yeah, he wouldnt stop bothering me about it."
peko:"you should not make such decisions on a whim. how will Ms and Mr. Kuzuryu react?"
fuyuhiko:"im going to inherit the clan anyway, they wont care."
natsumi:"yeah but youre not the leader yet. the clan is still under their power."
i didnt say anything
i finished my food and went back to my room
if something ever needs repair.. does that mean kazuichi is going to.. be here again?
but theres no telling when something is gonna break again
i should start working on homework

a few hours later im finally finished
i go take a bath, brush my teeth, and decide to play some games. tomorrow is the weekend after all.
