Part 36- Mexico

a/n: sorry for all the skips in the story it just makes things more interesting when things there is something happening

Finally I get to go to Mexico today and I literally can't wait, I've never been to Mexico before and I'll have the perfect tour guide as well which will make it even better. Alex is also super excited for me to come to Mexico but he's been very cautious telling me not to leave the airport without him and never go anywhere without him and not just because he can be clingy but because it can be quite unsafe. (I'm not saying that all of Mexico is like this but Alex has talked about this before so I thought I would include it)

Alex has been telling me all of these exciting things he wants to do while I'm with him its the most prepared I've seen him be for anything which is saying something. Talking about all the exciting things we could get up to has me way too excited about this trip I thought I would be more excited about going to England but I think I want to go to Mexico more.

One difficulty of this trip is that not only do I have to pack for Mexico I have to pack for England too which had a very different climate which can't be predicted as Wilbur told us so when packing I put in a wide range of clothing from shorts to full on hoodies which looks pretty interesting. I was on FaceTime with Alex while I was packing and he laughed at me for the mixture of clothes I was putting in but I gave him a death stare so he quickly stopped.

My flight is in about 30 minutes so I'm sat in the airport watching TikToks on my phone because why not. TikTok is an interesting place especially for a content creator because I see a bunch of clips from my own videos and streams as well as clips of my friends sometime I like the odd clip too because I know people love when creators do that so I like to make people happy. Sometimes TikTok informs me of lore streams that I didn't even know we're happening because I go on it as soon as I wake up most days.

Soon enough my flight was called to board and I turned my phone to airplane mode, luckily my flight isn't too long it was only about 2 hours much better than the 12 hour flight to the uk. (I don't know where Alex is from so I just kind of made these numbers up from a google search) I got into my seat ready for the flight to take off and I was on my own for most of the time but eventually this man sat next to me completely ignoring me which is just how I would want it to be.

The flight landed successfully and everyone was allowed to leave the now cramped feeling metal tube. I got my phone out straight away texting Alex that I landed to see if he was here yet. He text back straight away saying that he was walking into the airport ready for me when I made it through border checks and got my bags. It took forever to get through border check because one person in line was being difficult so eventually they had to make them wait as to not hold us up even more.

Eventually I made my way to where Alex would be standing waiting for me, there was quite a few people there but he was easy to spot because he's shorter than most of the other people and had his beanie on. It seems that we saw each other at the same time because he made his way towards me picking me up in a hug as soon as he was close enough to. He put me down and leaned in to kiss me so of course I kissed back right away.

We took a minute just being in each other's arms in a place where no one was looking at us because they have their own reunions going on. It is the one public place that we can be together like this without the risk of being recognised of course there is some risk but its not the type of place that you really think to meet someone.

Alex let go first and took hold of my bag for me grabbing my hand with his spare one as we walked out of the airport to the car park. Alex led me to his car where he put my luggage in the trunk and we both got in the front, I plugged my phone into the aux cord to play music as Alex drove me to his place. We listened to both of our favourite songs at the moment some of which I hadn't listened to before but they were really good and summed Alex up so well.

The drive wasn't too long or at least it didn't feel that long until we arrived at Alex's apartment where he let me in and showed me round the place because I haven't really seen it before I've only ever seen one room and thats his bedroom/streaming room. His place was nice and it was pretty clean which I didn't see coming but I soon realised that he probably cleaned before I arrived.

After a flight and going through the airport I wanted to relax a little bit before we went out anywhere or did anything so I could really appreciate it which Alex understood so he grabbed us both a snack and some water so we could chill and watch a few episodes of a show.

A few episodes of the office later and I felt rejuvenated and ready to explore a bit more which I'm super excited about. (Ive never been to Mexico so I'm kind of going to generalise and just make things up a little so I'm really sorry if things are wrong) Alex practically dragged me out the apartment and right to the streets which were filled with traditional looking houses and some buildings that were less traditional but also fit the area somehow. We walked further down more and more streets getting smaller before we reached a more populated town centre looking place. It was super pretty there was loads of different brightly coloured buildings and this amazing water fountain that was in the middle of the square, no one seemed to pay any attention to it but I loved its stone build and calming feel of watching the water.

We went over to the fountain and watched it for a little while and Alex took my phone from me without me noticing and taking pictures of me just staring at this fountain, as soon as I noticed him taking pictures I tried to get my phone back but he wouldn't give it.

"You look so cute just in your own world just keep looking around I promise you'll love these photos" he said

"Fine" I replied

I walked around looking at more things soon forgetting that Alex was taking pictures and just taking in the scenery. I really love the scenery in Mexico I know some people would say that there are nicer places out there or that it isn't the best place to live but all places have their flaws and I just love the feel of the place here.

After a little while of exploring Alex took me to this restaurant where we could have dinner before heading back home and settling in for the night. Again this place just gave off the most fantastic vibes and the people working there were very nice to the both of us, they didn't speak much English but Alex had taught me a bit of Spanish so I knew roughly what they were saying. I didn't want to say anything wrong and offend these people so Alex taught me exactly what to say to them which I did and they seemed to appreciate me trying even if my Spanish is far from perfect.

While waiting for our food Alex finally gave me my phone and showed me all the pictures he took which I have to admit were actually really cute he had managed to capture moments that showed off the nature of the place we were in and not make me look like an idiot staring at all of these things.

"These are great I'll have to post one at some point" I said

"You should post these two " he said

He showed me one photo where I was in the middle of moving my head to look at something beside me but it didn't look weird it looked staged really and then another of him flipping me off for absolutely no reason which I have to agree is actually a pretty good picture to post.

"Did you have to flip me off while I wasn't looking?" I asked

"Would you rather I do it when you can see?" He retorted

"I mean no I just don't see the need to flip me off at all" I said

"Well get used to it" he joked

Our food arrived and we ate before taking the walk back to the apartment where we sat down together to watch more episodes of the office even though we've seen them a thousand times it's just a good show to watch with someone. We headed to bed at around 1am so not too late because we have streams planned for tomorrow which need some preparation.
