'Good luck' Danny said with a low tone of voice, she knew im not in the mood with her this morning. After the fight we had last night.
'Thanks' I said bluntly, and walked out. She gave me 'the look'. Why is she giving ME the look, she is the one that started a cyclone out of a breeze last night. She is impossible sometimes.
'Bye daddy' my 5 year old daughter yelled out to me from the kitchen
'Bye dad' my 12 year old son yelled out straight after. God, they grow up fast, don't they. It feels like yesterday I had to take a year off teaching because I wanted to be with my new baby daughter. But that was 5 years ago. Now I'm teaching my first year 12 class, ever. I only taught year 7-9...dramatic change. I'm a little nervous, not going to lie, but hopefully everything will go well.
I got out of my car and grabbed out my bag and trolley. I stared at the school, thinking, this is the first day of year 12... Teaching Legal that is. I took a deep breath and began walking. I was relocated into the year 12 building. Thank god it isn't a new school, I think I would freak out.
'Hey Alex... How you going?' Joseph asked. He was the Business management teacher at the school. He taught year 10, 11 and 12, good on him.
'Yeah great... Yourself' I asked.
'Great... It's good to see you in the year 12 building!' He chuckled. No, it's nerve racking. I've never really been on this side of the school. As crazy as it sounds, but I've had no reason to.
'It's as good as it is bad' we laughed.
'Ahh, you'll get use to it!' He said as he left the office. I unpacked my bag and trolley and started placing the folders neatly on the desk. Got to be neat. I didn't reslise how much stuff I had to unpack. I'll be here all morning. Thankfully I don't have a morning class. As I was unpacking alone in the office, I heard the door open. I looked over to..... Whoa.... Who is she?! My heart pounded out of my chest. Her long brown hair hung over her shoulders, her big gorgoues hazily green eyes staring right into mind, her arms wrapped around her books, pressing up against her chest. Holy cow, she is beautiful. SNAP OUT OF IT ALEX! She is a student! I've never thought about a student like that before.
'Oh, Mr. Davidson... I'm, uh... Looking for Miss. Peirce' she said in an innocent tone. Oh, she is a goddess. Wait, she knows who I am? I cleared my throat.
'Uh, I haven't seen her... You are?' I tried to get a name.
'Uhh, Avery...' A beautiful name for a Beautiful girl.... Oh god, imagine I said that out loud.
'I'll let her know you dropped by, Avery' I played it cool. I had to.
'Thanks Sir' she shot a smile with her beautiful pearly white teeth. I just smiled back and continued unpacking. She is amazing. Hopefully I don't have to see or talk to her again, I don't think I can take it. Is be known as that creepy teacher that stares at Avery.

I took a deep breath before students started walking into the classroom. There
were a few guys that walked in, according to the roll, there's mostly girls. Thankfully, I knew a few of the guys that walked in, so that's a bonus.
'Mr. D! You're our teacher?' One of the guys yelled as he took his seat. While the others just smiled and waited for a response.
'Yeah I am! Better behave' they laughed.
'Nah, you're cool Mr. D... Looking forward to it!' Thank god I had some good kids. These guys and I get along, ever since I helped them get of out detention. Those were funny times. The P.E teacher disliked me a bit after that but life goes on. All the other teachers like me so whatever!
'Did you guys do the subject last year?' I asked. Curious as to what teacher they had and if I'll be better.
'Yeah we did! We had Miss. Flint... She sucked' they laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle. And they saw it.
'Hopefully, This year will be more chill with me' by this time, all the students are in class and just waiting for us to finish our conversation.
'Yeah!'
'Alright class. For those who don't know me, I'm Mr. Davidson, now if you want, call me Alex, but don't tell the other teachers!' The class giggled. 'As you all know, this is Legal Studies... It's long... It's boring but we've got to do it! So, I'll first handout the timeline... This has all your test dates and stuff on it, unfortunately, I can't change it, school rules' as I handed them out, I heard a pretty little voice that I recognised.
'If we miss the test date for some reason, do we do it another day?' I looked over and it was Avery... Oh great. A year with her... I'm going to try so hard to not watch her. She looks gorgeous sitting there. Her eyes watching, waiting for an answer.
'So if you miss the date, you will have to do it the next day. If not, you get a 0... But that's a dramatic rule... I'll let you sit the test when you're back in school' I heard the students sigh with relief. Yes, I'm going to be the cool teacher!
'Mr. D?' One of the male students called out as I went back to my seat.
'Most of the teachers have like, recap classes.. Will you have those?' Looks like the guys are willing to do well this year. That's great.
'Do you want those?' Most of the class let out a few yes'. 'Alright cool. What days after school did you want to do it on? What about Tuesday's.... 3.30-5?'
'Yeah!' The class answered.
'Alright cool... Alright, let's start with a run down of the year'
