💞Harper Marie Davis💞
Three more class periods had passed and lunch time finally arrived.
I was going to follow the hungry crowd towards the cafeteria, but I had to put my newly obtained textbooks in my locker.
Took me a small while to find it, probably because my hunger levels just magically propelled my body to the right directions.
I was putting my textbooks when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a rather odd scene.
Over at the corner of the hallway, there were two boys with blankets over their heads. One with a gray blanket, the other with a blue one. They were moving their bodies in awkward ways, making symbols with their hands. Gang signs?
"KA-"
Wait I think I've heard that before
"ME"
Yes, I've definitely heard this before.
"HA"
But where have I heard this before though?
"ME"
Oh....
"HAAAAAAA!!!"
Oh no.
Not this crap again. My past neighbor's son used to do this shit all the time when I was taking out the trash. Then he would attack me and run away. What a little piece of shit.
I stood there for a longer while, watching their epic battle unfold before me.
But then all of a sudden, a thud sound echoed through out the empty hallway, pulling the boys' attention towards me. My textbooks had fallen down.
Shit. And they caught me watching them like a fucking creep. This is just great.
I gave them a small smile and then hurried to pick up my things, but as I was doing that, I saw the boys slowly making their way towards me with a weird grim look on their faces.
Suddenly the guy with the blue blanket started yelling out incoherent words as the one with a gray blanket charged towards me, head first like a raging bull.
What the fuckkkkk?!?!
I immediately shut my locker and dashed down the corridor, in the direction of the cafeteria. I made it to the main hallway where other people were, but no one acted too surprised to see that I was getting chased down by a bull man.
What goes on in this school?! Are these the man-animals that Mrs. Holland warned me about?!
I was brought out of my thoughts when I bumped into something or rather, someone.
I tumbled down to the floor, landing on my butt. I looked behind me to see if those boys were still chasing me, but they just stood approximately 12 feet (about 4 meters) away from me, hissing at me like two angry cats. I flipped them off which only seemed to anger them more.
"Are you okay? Do you need help getting up?"
I whipped my head towards the direction of the husky voice to see a tall Asian boy standing there with his had held out. He had a septum piercing, which I found very attractive. When I didn't respond, he raised an eyebrow and cleared his throat. "I said, do you need help getting up?" he asked again.
