LIAM's P.O.V.

I couldn't think of anything else to buy from the supermarket so I just got some fresh bread, a jar of butter and another dozen of eggs and a pack of sausages. On the way back to Savannah's, I stopped by

Starbucks to grab some fresh coffee. Nothing beats coffee in the morning and after everything that's happened in the last hour - I need a full cup of it.

Arriving at the apartment, I see that she hasn't come out of her room yet so she's maybe about done. I'd better cook these up quick before she does come out to an empty kitchen. The waffles are still okay, so it's just the sausages and eggs I got to make up for. Again, I should be careful this time.

A lot more careful.

As I start placing the plates and the cooked food on the table, I hear her bedroom door open. She's probably finished and I haven't even finished setting the table yet. Ugh, this took longer than I thought it would. All I have to find now is the spoons.

Yuck.

I finally step back from the table and turn to find her standing a few inches away just watching me.

"Come. You must be starving." I tell her.

"I am. Everything smells so good." She nods.

We sit, we eat and we talk. But we don't bring up what just happened so I'm guessing we'll get to that later on. After devouring our late breakfast, she makes us some tea and I move to the living room to wait.

Ask her. She doesn't have anything to hide my mind tells me.

Garrett. I can't stop thinking about that name. I need to ask her. Now.

"Liam?" I jolt when she calls and I'm surprised I didn't even notice her sit beside me. "Are you alright? Something's wrong isn't it?" she asks.

I put my face in my palms, looking away from her. She slides away from me a little and doesn't say anything. By the way she's being so quiet and distant - I would think that she's actually afraid of me.

"Why did you just do that - move away from me? Are you afraid or something?" I ask her.

"What? No, I'm not." She answers almost defensively. "I'm just...giving you space that's all. I don't want you to think I'm smothering you or anything. "

There's a small smile on her lips but brings her eyes to the floor while rubbing the palm of her hands on her jeans. I should just ask her about what I heard because it's obvious the way I'm acting is bothering her. Here goes...

"Okay. So I think we should talk." I tell her. She doesn't say anything but bobs her head in agreement. "Alright. This isn't easy because there's a bunch of things running through my mind and only you can help me stop it."

"Okaaay." she says.

"Okay. So..." I say fully turning my body so that she can see that I'm giving her all my attention. She does the same. "let's start with your dream."

"Nightmare." She corrects me suddenly.

"Okay, nightmare. Could you tell me what it was about?" I ask her and she starts to rub her palms on her jeans again.

"It's just a stupid dream - I mean, nightmare. It's nothing really." She simply tells me but the strain in her voice and the look on her face tells me something different.
