Chapter 1: Meet the Allen family

It was a typical Friday night, the kids were upstairs and Nora Allen was getting dinner ready. Hey honey, can you please call the kids down for dinner? Nora asked her husband while setting the table. Sure. Henry smiled as he got up from one of the kitchen bar chairs before leaving the kitchen.

Kids! Dinner! Henry shouted from the bottom of the stairs. He climbed up the stairs and walked towards the kids bedrooms. suddenly a red SUV ride on electric car came racing past him, which made him jump to the side and stand against a wall. Sorry, dad! 2 little kids yelled as they turned the car around. JJ was driving and Zoe sat in the passenger seat with Kane the puppy. JJ, Zoe, Dinner. Henry called out as the car came to a stop. Boys, its time for dinner. Henry poked his head in one of the bedrooms where 4 older boys were playing video games. He then went to the next room and opened the door. Girls, Dinner.
He said before leaving and going back to the kitchen.

So, are you guys all ready for school on Monday? Nora asked at the table during dinner. Yeah, I guess. Alex replied. I know you guys are just starting high school, but you'll be fine. Nora smiled as she fed baby Jenna who was sitting on her high chair. We're Freshmen, mom. We still have like 3 more years of high school left. Laurel groaned. Don't worry, high school is not as bad as it seems. You guys will be fine. Henry reassured them. Tell that to the bullies. Barry said. Hey, you don't have to worry about them. Not as long as we're around. Tommy placed his arms around Oliver and Diggle who were sitting either side of him. Thats right, you know you have 3 bros looking out for you. Oliver agreed. Yeah, you know the saying? You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. Diggle added. Thanks guys. Barry replied. And what about you two? Nora looked over at the twins. That's right, you guys will be starting the first grade. How old are you guys again? 6? Tommy joked. Its the second grade. JJ said. Yeah, and we're only 7. Zoe corrected him.

You guys still have a long way to go. Trust me, high school is way more harder than the 2nd grade. Laurel said. After dinner, the boys went upstairs while the older girls stayed and helped clean up.

Henry Allen and Nora Allen have 12 kids together. Two are their biological kids, while the other ten are adopted. Henry and Nora have always wanted kids, but they never knew they would end up adopting ten more. They're quite a handfull at times but they changed their lives for the better. They would'nt trade it for the world.
