Chapter 37: Bertholdt's Girlfriend?

August 6th

Reiner's POV

I woke up to see Y/n still sleeping. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it. I got out of bed and got ready for the day.

I think I'll make pancakes for breakfast

I head to the kitchen and begin making pancakes. Shortly after I hear two pairs of footsteps. They were light and quick so I knew it was the twins.

"I smelt pancakes" Zoe says as she sits down

"Me too!" Marco says

"No you didn't, I had to wake you up" Zoe says. I chuckle as I finish up. I make their plates and hand it to them. They both begin scarfing it down

"Where's mommy?" Marco asks

"She's still sleeping" I say. They both frown

"She didn't kiss us good night last night" Marco mutters as I begin eating

"Don't blame her too much, she's not doing it on purpose" I say

"Do what on purpose?" Y/n asks. I drop my fork from the sudden noise behind me.

Crap

I look behind me to see Y/n walking over to the chair next to me. She notices there isn't a plate as she sits down. So she takes mine and begins eating it

That was mine... but okay

I pick up my fork and throw it in the sink. I then get another plate of pancakes and begin eating

"Daddy, mommy's asleep on her plate" Zoe says pointing to Y/n. I turn to see her face first in the plate. I try not to laugh. I quickly finish eating and pick her up.

"Marco and Zoe, put the dishes in the sink please" I say as I carry Y/n bridal style.

"Okay.." they both mutter. I go to put Y/n in bed when I hear a knock on the door. I set Y/n on the couch and I open the front door. It's Dr. Kaiser

"May I come in?" He asks

"Sure" I say as I open the door wider. He walks in and I close the door

"So is she in the bedroom?" He asks.

"Um no, she woke up briefly, she's currently on the couch sleeping" I say. He nods. I pick up Y/n and take her to the bedroom. I lay her down and grab the notebook. I hand it to Dr. Kaiser and he begins reading.

"So, we'll do daily check ups for the first trimester to make sure everything is alright and if she does well by the second trimester she should be up and running" Dr. Kaiser says

"After we'll do weekly and yeah we'll see how it goes" He says. I nod

"Well that's all, I'll check her vitals and then I'll be out" He says as he begins checking her vitals

"Everything is good, I'll be back tomorrow" Dr. Kaiser says as he walks out and leaves the house. I go to sit down when someone knocks on the door.

Ughhhh

I walk over to the door and open it. I see Armin and Annie standing there

"Oh hey guys, what are you doing here?" I ask

"Well we were wond-" Armin begins

"Bertholdt is going on a date" Annie says. My eyes widened

"With who?" I ask

"Some chick named Garnet" She says
(Before yall come at me in the comments, listen. I spent like 10 minutes coming up with a name and eventually gave up and used a Steven Universe reference. Atleast I didn't name her William😎🤭)
