Reason and Purpose

Yet I know there is a reason,
Amongst the days where the sun doesn't shed her rays of light and the depths of the oceans are raging outside of the window.

Yet I know there is a purpose,
Amongst the nights where the fields groan in exhaustion of our painful world and the evergreen trees no longer convey eternal life.

We are meant for greater things;
So, fear not!

For we will emerge from these
Hallucinations of darkness,
Watery winds shall no longer reign over the lands,
Desert plains will find fresh morning dew and cry out in joy,
Branches of leafy greens will burst into colour once again.

We wait for that time to come.
Patiently.
