Strawberry

I wish to keep our friendship;
To cherish you until the trees cease their singing,
To support you until the seas put an end to their dancing,
To help you when the sun stops shining.

I have found a friend in someone so cherished;
As if I have reached the rainbow's nadir,
As if I have nothing but laughter left inside me,
As if I have loyalty like crows and their shadows.

Perhaps we are only comfortable strangers,
Helplessly wandering in search of more,
Yet I find attachment in everything,
Yet I see you smiling and I also feel joy.

More love and more life to us,
More peace and contentment to you,
For your smile is simply sweet,
Like strawberries and cream!
