Together, We Will Soar

You are radiant as the Sun,
A beacon glistening,
I put my trust and love into you.

We have loved each as one,
A beautiful past,
I put my flaws on my sleeve.

I am inky like the Moon,
An unwritten poem,
I cannot share my darkness with you.

Afraid of the future,
A bleak and glassy thought,
I cannot help being timid.

Together, we may soar,
Or,
Together, we may fall.

Sun and Moon,
Together in existence,
Will not our love speak the same?
