I walked upstairs and saw Justin, who was on his phone. He suddenly looked up at me.
"Hey. What's up?" He asked me.
"Nothing much. Actually, Amber had the best idea. Maybe you could sing at one of the jazz clubs downtown?" I answered.
"Hmm, that's a great idea. Anything else?"
"She also said there's some people who are offering record deals to people who sing there, often come and see if they find someone who might be interested."
"Yeah, I'm in for it. What time is the club open?"
"Around five or so."
"Sweet."
"You'll do it?"
"Yes."
"Okay. I'll probably look up more about it. I'll be downstairs of you need me." I turned around and walked down the stairs. Well, both Amber and her mother were still in the kitchen; in their exact same spots.
"What he say?" Amber asked.
"He said he'll do it." I answered.
"Awesome. All we have to do now is wait until five.."
"Yep."
We all kept ourselves occupied until it was time to leave. That time came fast, though.
5:15 PM
Okay, this place was really packed. Like, literally. It took us about twenty minutes to get to the stage.
There was a man who looked about 47, sitting on the stage right next to a microphone. He stood up and spoke into it.
"Thank you all for comin' out tonight! Now first, do we have anyone who would like the show the crowd their talent of singing, tonight?" He said.
There wasn't anyone raising their hands; except Justin. Most of these people came to party or get drunk.
"Looks like we've found one. Come on up here young fella." I just smiled at this.
While he was introducing himself to the crowd, I just stared down at my phone, and waited for him to do his thing.
After a few minutes, he began to sing. It was different from the one he sang to me. (A/N: The song is "That Girl." You can play the video next to the photo.)

After he finished the song, everyone gave him a standing ovation. I went along with everyone else and clapped as well.
He might be getting himself a record deal sometime soon.
A/N: Such a short chapter, I know. I'm trying to make them shorter lol
