Chapter 5: Who Started It?

I can't believe it. Someone started a rumor, and we're not even dating.

"Who told you that I was going out with someone?" I asked Chris.

"One of the students told me," He answered. "You're dating Justin, aren't you?"

"No! I'm not dating him, we're just friends." I answered.

"That's why I didn't want to ask you to go out on a date with me."

"Well, my answer is no."

"Why?"

"Because, Justin might find out and think I like you. More than a friend. I may be falling for him..."

That made its way out of my mouth. I didn't want anyone to know about this.

"Well, if you're falling for him, tell him that."

"I don't know if I can. He's already been really close to me than expected when you just meet someone."

"Has he kissed you?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Then you need to tell him. Have you two slept together?"

"Umm... Yeah.."

"You two are more than friends if you're doing that. All of the teachers are on break in the teachers' lounge, so you can go there.

"I'll go for it..." I walked out the library, and made my way to the teachers' lounge.

Once I got there, all of the teachers were sitting at one long table, laughing and eating their lunches.

I gestured to Justin that I wanted to talk to him. He got up and walked over to me.

"Yeah?" He said.

We walked outside of the lounge, so everyone else wouldn't hear us.

"I have to to tell you something. I'm actually falling for you."

"I've been wanting to tell you the same thing. You're really beautiful, Samantha. I'm falling for you too." He put his hand on my cheek, and leaned in to kiss me.

I kissed him back, while wrapping my arms around his neck.

I heard some of the teachers gasping, but I ignored them.

"I love you, Samantha Rose Griffin."

"I love you too, Justin Randall Timberlake."

I didn't think he was in love with me like I was with him? Oh well.

"You want to go out later?" Justin asked me.

"Where?"

"I don't know, to the downtown area or something."

I've always wanted to see the downtown area, ever since I moved here. And when I was in my last state, California.

"I'd love to!" I smiled and hugged him.

"Great. So I'll see you at 7?"

"Yep. See you later!" I walked back to my classroom to prepare for my next class.
1:25 PM
"Okay everyone, what states were part of the Confederacy?" I asked my class. Everyone raised their hands, but I picked on one student, Chandler.

He told me the eleven states that were part of the Confederacy, and got them all right.

"Very good, Chandler." I smiled at him.

"Thanks." He smiled back.

Then, the bell suddenly rang.

"Remember, your test is on Thursday!" I shouted to the calls they left the classroom.

Ugh. One rough day down, about 3 more to go. I couldn't wait until Justin and I have our 'alone time".
