Book7 PDS: The Miraculous Ghost Story

...23... We're all in this together...23...

Danny looked and Jazz as they got back on the trail they originally were on. She seemed like she wanted to tell Danny something but she remained silent.

He looked at his other sister and saw she and Adrien were talking and couldn't stop. He smiled at them and looked at his loving girlfriend. She kept talking to her mother with a happy smile and Pamela took it all in as she listened.

Tucker on the other hand did the same. Maurice smiled hugely and happily. Danny felt relieved that his two friends at least got the thing they were hoping for. Kinda.

"Jazz...it feels like you want to tell me something. What's wrong?" Danny asked capturing his older sister's attention."Well..." She started."Well, tell me." Danny said.

"It's a really long story, Danny. I'm still trying to let it sink in myself." Jazz started."There's this ghost...turns out we knew him when we were kids but you weren't adopted yet and I barely remember him." Jazz said.

"Why did you put emphasis on ghost? Did he do something to you?" Danny asked starting to get defensive."No, he didn't do anything wrong. He helped me when I started out as a ghost and helped me to try and track you, Sam and Tucker down but we failed." Jazz said.

"Okay?" Danny said."So he is our friend?" Danny added. Jazz closed her eyes. I should just come out with it. "He's Jack and Maddie's first son."

Danny stopped making the whole group stop."What do you mean? You're their first child and they adopted me." Danny said.

"It's kinda the reason why you were adopted."

"What's going on?" Marinette asked."About to find out." Danny said."Everyone, take a break." He announced and some people groaned in happiness when Danny said that.

"Our older brother...he was around five or six years old when it happened. Back then Jack and Maddie were busy with building and perfecting the ghost portal and they managed that once before. He wandered into the lab and his curiosity took over and he looked at it."

Marinette and Danny looked at each other for a moment and then at Jazz."He switched it on by accident and got out before it was fully activated and that's when a powerful ghost saw him through the portal."

"Whoa, whoa! Hold up...the portal actually worked before! How old was I?" Danny asked."You were two years old at the time, Danny." Jazz said."Oh, okay."

"This ghost grabbed him before the portal stopped working and the next morning Jack and Maddie saw what happened and devoted their time to try and get it working again to get him back."

"So I was adopted around the time when I was two years old?" Danny asked."Yes. Anyway, this ghost has trained him to be a warrior. The Ghost Zone was in chaos and she needed help to do get it back to how it was."

"Why was the ghosts chaotic?" Marinette asked."His kidnapper and trainer is the one who put Pariah Dark away in the first place." Jazz said."What. The. Hell!" Danny said.

"You have an older brother?" Marinette asked looking at Jazz in shock."Yes... when we get to Dora I'm going to try to contact him."

"What's his name?" Danny asked."Well...before he was kidnapped he went by Flynn Fenton but now he goes by Exodus." Jazz said.

Danny took a deep breath and let it out."You okay, Danny?" Jazz asked. That question is such an insult to me these days...Danny thought bitterly. Danny merely stood up and announced that they were close to Dora's castle.

Jazz looked sadly at Danny."What a great way to get reunited." Jazz said sarcastically."I see where Danny gets his sarcasm." Marinette said."Just give him space. When he found out the truth about his family, he also stayed quiet and left. He'll come around." Marinette said.
