King's POV
Today's the day!

I looked down at my fiance next to me as she was fast asleep. I quietly got out of bed and went to the large doors of our bedroom.

I turned intangible and walked through them, not wanting to wake up Sam. I made my way down the hallways of this titan of a castle towards the kitchen.

I'm going to surprise Sam with some breakfast in bed. That'll wake her up and with a smile. I arrived in the kitchen and saw the head chef was here, making sure that the catering was perfect.

He greeted me with a smile and a bow. "Today's the big day, sire!" He said cheerfully. "Yes! It is! Listen, I'm going to steal you for a sec. The Queen is still fast asleep and I want to surprise her with some breakfast in bed." I said.

"Ohh, you're such a romantic, sire!" He said. "I got just the thing!" He said and immediately got pots and pans out. "The future Queen needs the perfect dish!" He said. He got out a lot of packages out of the pantry as I grabbed a notepad from the counter and a pen. While he cooks something delicious for Sam, I'm going to write her a beautiful poem.

I suck...poems are difficult.

"Need some help, sire?" I looked up to see Fright Knight. "You're a poet?" I asked shocked. "No, but I have a way with words...so I was told." He said. That I can believe. "Got any tips then?" I asked.

"Speak not from here," he said putting his finger on my forehead, "but from here." He then said, putting his finger on my chest. "Easier said than done. The heart is..."

"Mysterious?"

"Yes..." I said.

I looked down at the paper in front of me. All around me were scrunched up papers of cheesy stuff.

"How's this?" I asked Fright Knight. He read the small note and smiled...I think he did, at least. "It's perfect, sire. The food is almost prepared." He then said. I looked to see the chef getting the plate ready to serve up.

"Ah! Thank you so much!" I said and watched as the food was placed on a cart for me. Fright Knight got out a small vase and placed two purple roses in it with some water.

I got the cutlery out that Sam loved and then finally some green tea. I pushed the cart out after folding the note into a heart.

Once I arrived at the doors, I turned intangible to see Sam was just as I left her. I parked the cart next to her side of the bed and floated above her. "Sammy... today's the day." I said, softly. She groaned.
