Chapter 5:Our Relaxing Days Continue ①

Nino:"They're totally in love, it's so obvious."

Fuutarou:"Huh?"

Nino:"Mr. Adachi and Miku's owner across the street!"

Fuutarou was cleaning the floor right before closing hours, while Nino was cleaning dishes. It was but another day at the bakery they were working at. Fuutarou, not fully understanding why he had seemingly shown interest in Nino's statement, tried to sweep away from Nino in a vain attempt to ignore her. However, he had already dug his grave.

Nino:"Fuu-kun! Don't you think they would be good together?"

Fuutarou:"I don't know, I've never been one to keep track. I just know that our owner and Miku's are rivals."

Nino:"And because you're so dense, that's why you have so much trouble with girls!"

Fuutarou stays quiet, unable to retort.

Nino:"I know, what if we get them on a date with each other?"

Fuutarou continues his silence, nothing he says now could stop her.

Nino:"Alright!"

Nino gets her phone and begins calling someone.

Nino:"Miku!...Yes...Of course...You know what to do!"

Within 20 seconds, the call is over.

Nino:"It's time, the plan starts tomorrow after our shift."

Fuutarou:[Women sure are scary.]

Fuutarou and Nino began to follow the two bakery owners the next day. Nino said that she had set them up on a blind date.

Mr. Adachi:"Well, Hibari, we're really going along with this?"

Hibari:"I think it could be fun to play along for now. Miku-chan said this could be fun. Now, why don't we go on this blind date, alone?"

Not far behind them, Nino and Fuutarou were trailing them in disguise.

Fuutarou:"Question: Why am I here? Why are we trailing them? And where's Miku?"

Nino:"I'm forcing you, I want to see these romantic moments first hand, and I don't know."

Fuutarou:"I hope you don't develop a knack for stalking people while they're on dates."

Nino:"Oh? Are you considering that day you had with Miku as a trip?"

Fuutarou:"That's not what I-Gah, whatever, I'm texting her to see where she is. If she gets to stay home while I suffer..."

Fuutarou receives a response.

Miku:"I am in your presence. However, like a shadow, I must remain unknowable to all."

Fuutarou simply stares at the reply before putting the phone in his pocket.

Fuutarou:[Yeah, I'm not answering that.]

Fuutarou:"She's here."

Nino:"Where is she?"

Fuutarou:"Look where the sun doesn't shine, you might find her."

Nino simply remained confused as they continued to trail the two. During the day, it seemed that everything went well. From going to the movies to the restaurant and some shopping, everything was according to plan.

Fuutarou:"I'm bored."

Nino:"Of course an inexperienced guy like you wouldn't see the wonderful intricacies of a date."
