Chapter 26:Fuutarou's Sick Day

It was a new day. The sky was as clear as possible, the weather was just right, this should've been a great day. However, Fuutarou was stuck in bed, coughing his heart out.

Fuutarou:"At least I didn't get sick during the semester."

Raiha:"Dad went outside again."

Fuutarou:"He always leaves at random moments, he better not be doing pachinko."

Raiha:"Well, in cases like this, you know who I have to call."

Fuutarou:"I already know the answer to that, don't I?"

Raiha:"Yep!"

Fuutarou:"No thanks, I'd rather be alone. Besides, it wouldn't be good if I got any of them sick."

Fuutarou drifted off into sleep as he finished his sentence.

Raiha:"Sorry, big bro, but this is for your sake. Let's call Yotsuba-san."

Fuutarou woke up to get a glass of water. While he was doing that, he heard a ring at the door.

Raiha:"I'll get it!"

Fuutarou:"You really called them."

Raiha:"Just Yotsuba-san, I didn't think of bothering the other girls. I'm sure she could cheer you up."

As Fuutarou chugs his water, Raiha opens the door.

Raiha:"Miku-san?"

Miku:"Hello."

Raiha looks around.

Raiha:"Are you alone?"

Miku:"Yeah. Yotsuba called us to take care of Fuutarou, but for various reasons, only I was available."

{Yotsuba:"I wish I could go, but the track team called me last minute."}

{Ichika:"I have to worry about work right now."}

{Itsuki:"I have to meet with Shimoda-san today."}

...

Kari:"Nino-chan, do you have the next set?

Nino:"Yes, sir!"[Who the hell orders 130 cakes!?]

...

Miku:"I didn't have a shift, so I had the time."

Raiha:"Well, come in."

Fuutarou:"Yo *cough*."

He had already gotten back in bed by this point.

Miku:"Hey, Fuutarou. Looks like you drew the short end of the stick again."

Fuutarou:"I have the worst luck, I've come to terms with that."

Miku:"We could always have dad look at you."

Fuutarou:"It's alright. I wouldn't want you to get sick anyway."

Miku:"How considerate."

Fuutarou:"I'm seri-"

Miku touches Fuutarou's forehead with her own.

Fuutarou:"W-What was that for *cough*?"

Miku:"Hm, Nino said she was going to do that, so I wondered if it really worked."

Miku's face started to turn red.

Miku:"But all it did was make me feel flushed."

Fuutarou:"...You should stop copying those things from her."
