Hey guys soo my brother is still sick but he's asleep right now, anyway, onto the story

Naruto pov

It's been a week since I left, right now, I'm eating a boar that Kurama cought, I close my eyes and let out a sigh as I rub circles on my stomach "that was delicious" "it would've been batter raw" I look over at Kurama a bit disgusted as he licks the blood off of his palm.

"Just because you eat it raw doesn't mean I have to!!" he shrugs "it has more nutrients when it's raw" "but it's chewy!!" "Mmm" I watch as he rips another piece of meat off of the leg and bites into it a couple times, I feel my mouth water at all the blood dripping down his arm and chin, making a small puddle on the floor.

I slowly stand up and walk over sitting down on my knees infront of him. He stops chewing and looks up at me with a raised brow, I open my mouth "ahh~" he rolls his eyes and puts a small piece into my mouth smirking a little. I chew it once and immediately spit it out "PWAK!! BWAT WATH ITH SINTHIN!?" (What was I thinking)

Kurama burst out laughing as I run over to the pond and start cleaning my tounge while Kurama falls onto his side, hugging his stomach. I look over and glare at him "I hate you, and you're disgusting" I feel my eyebrow twitch as he continues to laugh "how can you eat that!?"

He sits up a little, wiping a tear away, his laughing somewhat dying down "b-because I'm a f-fox, pfft, of c-course I like i-it raw .... BWAHAHAHA!!" I start blushing a little "TH-THEN WHY DID MY MOUTH WATER!?" "B-Because you're part fox, PFFFFTT" "SH-SHUT UP !!" He suddenly stops laughing and sits up with a finger on his mouth in a shushing manner, moving his ears around.

I start listening to everything as well till we both perk up at the sound of foot steps and low grumbling. "Can't believe I got stuck on a rainy day (sigh) this is such a waste of time" Kurama starts signaling me over to him. I stand up and rush over behind him as he stands "a cave"

I freeze up as the footsteps start getting closer and closer. I see a cloaked fuigure walk in and sigh "I-Itachi??" I grip onto Kuramas shirt a little as Itachi looks up at us "Naruto?? Wh-what are you d-do-doing here??" He wraps his arms around himself, shaking slightly, I bite my lip and cautiously walk up to him.

I grab his hand and gently pull him over to the fire, grabbing his Akatsuki cloack and hang it up to dry. I look back at Itachi to see him on his knees shaking slightly infront of the fire "d-do you want some food??" He looks up at me "why are you being so nice?? I'm a rouge Leaf shinobi that's trying to capture you"

"Well, you look hungry" I grab some water and a piece of cooked boar and walk up to him, I hand them to him and he carefully takes them from me mumbling out a small "thanks" I nod and walk to the side a little, sitting down on my knees.

Once he finishes he looks back up at me "what are you doing here??" "Oh umm, I may have, sorta, y-ya'know kinda, umm, r-ran away??" He furrows his brows in confusion "why??" "He doesn't have to explain himself to you, c'mon Naruto, were leaving"

I look up at him confused "what?? Why??" "I don't trust Uchihas" Kurama growls a little as he glares at Itachi "I assure you, I'm not gonna hurt Naruto, nor do I intend to" "yeah right, c'mon pack your things" 'just for a few days kit, we'll be back when it's safe again' "o-ok"

Itachi then stands up as well "like I said, I don't intend to hurt him. I don't even want to capture him, that's why I left last time, I'm still Itachi Uchiha of the village hidden in the leaves, I'll do anything to protect it, even kill my clan" I perk up a little "what's that mean??" I tilt my head to the side making my ears flop a little.

He sighs "wanna hear the story of why I did what I did??" I nod frantically and bounce over to him with Kurama trailing behind me like an over protective body guard. Me and Itachi sit down on the floor with Kurama standing behind me with his guard up and ready to pounce.

"You see, when I was younger, I was always called a prodigy, and I guess I always was. I went to war when I was 12 and had to kill off many, many people, growing up, I always thought to myself, is this really all there is to life?? As a ninja, you either kill or get killed"

He smiles softly "when my brother came along, I knew that I would do anything and everything in my power to keep him safe, but then, my clan started to get angry at how the village treated them like an outcast because of our powers, they were .... afraid, so my clan started to plan out a coup d'etat against the whole village"

"I was ordered by Danzo to pick a side, either the village or my clan. I didn't want Sasuke to see that at his age, so I-I had to kill off everyone, but, I just .... I couldn't do that to Sasuke. Not, not to my baby brother" He closes his eyes and tilts his head back as a tear falls out. I see his lip quiver slightly making my chest tighten up "I miss him"

I bite my lip a little "Ya'know, he's such a prick, has the biggest pole shoved up his ass" I close my eyes and cross my arms, I hear him chuckle a little "is that so??" I nod "mhmm, he thinks he's better then everyone, especially me, that bastard, I'll show him who's best dabatto"

"I like training with him though, we both learn something new from eachother each time, if that bastard didn't have the large ego he has, we would probably be best friends, he doesn't talk much and his hair style reminds me of a ducks ass" I snicker a little while Itachi chuckles again.

We just sit there and talk about how Sasuke was back when he was younger compared to how he is now. He tells me a bunch of embarrassing stories which I'm totally gonna use as blackmail someday. We also talk about ourselves, and both of our past. After a few hours, I look out the cave to see it getting dark outside "it's getting pretty late, do you wanna spend the night??"

He looks outside, then back at me "if it's alright with you both" I close my eyes and smile "yeah of course!!" "No" I look back at Kurama with a pout "but Kura~" he looks down at me for a few seconds before sighing "fine, but I've got my eyes on you" "YAY!!" I jump up and wrap my arms around his neck hugging Kurama making my tails wag uncontrollably.

Itachi lays his sleeping bag on the floor and lays on top of it, wrapping himself up in the blanket "do you not have something to sleep on??" I close my eyes and smile as I flop down on Kurama's tails. He wraps his tails around me protectively, I sigh and snuggle into them a little "nighty night" "goodnight Naruto, sleep well" "Night Naruto, sweat dreams"
