Hey guys what's up ?? So this chapter is gonna be a little different, but, hey, different is a good thing, am I right xD

Iruka pov

I'm pacing back and forth in my living room when I'm supposed to be grading papers instead. ' Where is he ?? Where can he be ?? Is he ok ?? God I'm so worried ' I chew on my nails and continue to pace, thinking of any place Naruto could be.

It's been a month now and still no sign of him. " I'm sure he's fine Iruka-sensei " I scream and turn around to see Kakashi climbing in through my window " K-Kakashi !! " He looks up at me and smiles .... I think " yo " he does a little salute.

" Wh-what do you mean ' yo ' you scared me !! What are doing climbing in through my window !! And with your shoes on !! " " Ne, ne calm down Iruka-sensei " he hold up his shoes and smiles again " I took them off, see ?? "

I sigh and look down at the ground " s-sorry, I'm just .... stressed " I frown a little as he stands infront of me " yes I know, we all are .... It's been really quiet without him around " I nod and feel my eyes get watery " d-do you think h-he's ok ?? " I sniff and reach up, wiping a tear away.

He starts reaching over and grabs my chin gently, making me tilt my head up to look at him " I'm sure he's fine Iruka-sensei, it's Naruto after all, he won't go down so easily " he cups my cheek and wipes another tear away with his thumb.

" Do you wanna go get ramen with me Iruka ?? To, get your mind off things " I smile softly " I'd love to, but, I have all this paperwork to do " " I'll help you, then we'll go, yeah ?? " " Ah, A-Are you sure ?? " He nods and we walk over to my table and sit down, grading the papers together.

After an hour, we finally finish, I stand up and start stretching, my shirt lifts up a little but I ignore it " Soo, ramen ?? " I look over at Kakashi and smile " yeah, let me just get ready " he nods and I quickly change into my ninja uniform, do my hair, and brush my teeth.

I walk out and tell Kakashi that I'm ready. When we get to Ichirakru we sit down as Teuchi turns around " ah Iruka, Kakashi still no sign of Naruto ?? " He frowns a little as we shake our heads I look down at my lap shaking slightly and bitting my lip gently.

" W-Well, wherever he is, I'm sure he's fine, it's Naruto after all !! " " That's what I said " I look up with a small smile " y-yeah " " soo, what can I getcha ?? " " I'll have a regular chicken ramen " " can I get a large pork ramen with extra pork ?? " He nods and starts making them.

Once he's done, he hands us our plates, we both give thanks and start eating. Half way through my plate I groan and rub my belly " how can Naruto eat 6 plates if this ?? I can barley eat one !! " I laugh a little and look over at Kakashi " Naruto has a stomach as big as his heart "

I laugh again " maybe even bigger actually " I laugh a bit harder as Teuchi chuckles " I'll say, poor kid has been through a lot and he still smiles everyday " I nod a little " Say, Iruka what do say if we go on a walk together ne ?? " " I say that sounds amazing Kakashi "

We start getting up and Kakashi leaves some money on the counter " ah, no, Kakashi let me pay for mine !! " I start taking out my wallet but he grabs my hand " it's fine Iruka-sensei, really " " but- " I get cut off by Teuchi " now now, it's on the house " " are you sure !?!? " He just nods " o-ok th-thanks !! "

We start walking around the village making small talk about random things till the sun starts going down. He then starts walking me home, once there, we stand at the front of my door together " th-thanks Kakashi, I had fun today "

" That's good to hear, I had fun as well Iruka " I smile a little " well, see ya later " " yeah " I open the door and bite my lip again. I step inside and look up at him " bye " " bye " I start closing the door, but, it gets stoped by a foot " wait " I open the door a little and look up at him " y-yes ?? "

He blushes a bit and looks a little .... conflicted about something " Ka- " I get cut off when he suddenly leans in and kisses my cheek. Then he disappears in a puff of smoke. I stand frozen in place for a second or two, then slowly reach up and gently touch my cheek.

I close the door and lock it then take off my shoes. I walk into the middle of my room and start blushing hard. I put my hands up to my face and stumble over to my bed, face flopping onto it before I roll onto my side and curl myself into a small ball ' HE KISSED MY CHEEK !! WHY WOULD HE DO THAT !?!? '

After my gay panic, I get ready for bed and lay down covering myself up with my blanket ' where are you Naruto ?? '

Naruto pov

It's been a month since I left, right now, Kurama is teaching me how to hunt and use my new found sensitive senses to the max. Itachi left about a week and a half ago, something about a mission he needed to finish.

I'm stalking a deer on my hands and feet, watching it carefully through some bushes ' wait till the times perfect, then attack it with full force, show no mercy Naruto ' I growl lowly and watch the deer snap it's head up and look around a little before it goes back to eating berries.

After five minutes of stalking it, I jump towards it and land on top of the deer, I bite down on its neck making the blood spatter everywhere as it jumps and kicks around trying, and failing, to knock me off. I pull away and take out a kunai, spinning it on my finger before I stab it's throat and yank it out, cutting it's throat open.

I jump off and watch it run around and kick a little till it drops dead. I feel my hair being ruffled up and I look up at a proud Kurama " very good job kit " I smile brightly as my tails start wagging uncontrollably from being praised " take it back to the cave, I'll show you how to gut it " " ok !! "

I walk over and struggle a little to lift it up onto my shoulders, once we get back to the cave I drop the deer and do exactly what Kurama tells me to properly gut it. Once I finish, I cook a piece while Kurama just sits back and eats it raw.
