The rest of the trip to Washington was just amazing. Those days with my family were like pure gold. Step by step, Chris was being more opened and goofy with them. Even Mateo started to play with him, mostly like trying to recreate Civil War but Ironman beating Captain America. At least, they were smiling all the time. Ana was just amazed all the time with Chris, she believed with all her heart he was a prince. One time that we had to watch after the kids, Ana decided to watch Beauty and Beast and she was telling me how much I looked like her, always with a book under my nose. And when the Beast appeared she looked at Chris and told him that he was the prince, but he was just not so hairy. I laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt for hours while I could felt the hate in Chris' eyes. "At least I have a library and you don't" he said very proud with Ana agreeing with him. He was just like a little kid sometimes.
My uncle and his family left the 26th while my mom was going to staying at my brother's place until the kids started school, so she could helped with the little minions. We had to left the 27th if we wanted to make to Robert's party, I could felt the pain in my nephews eyes while we said goodbye. When we arrived to New York it was like a very cold slap in my face.
All the city was full of snow and it was impossible to walk down the streets. But, unfortunately, Chris had to work almost all the days except New Years Eve. I spent all my time working, trying to figure out everything for the MET gala and revised all the exams. One time I spoke to Sam at the phone, he was as busy as me because he had more classes that I had. I wanted to go out and took a coffee, just to socialize with someone. For the first time I felt alone at that place.
Julia's phone at 15:34:
"Do you fell like going out for some coffee?"
Lizzie's phone at 15:40:
"I'm shopping for Robert's party. Do you wanna come? We can grab a coffee meanwhile."
Julia's phone at 15:42:
"Send me the address. I will be there in 15."

"So, professor life is hard." Lizzie said while walking out of the changing room.
"I thought you already had a dress." I took a sip of my mocca. "And it's not only that... the MET gala is driving me nuts. 'God and Goddess: Journey to the Greatness'... I hate that theme..."
"You hate the fact that you are so overwhelmed with work. But I like the theme, my team is working in a dress inspired by Belisama, a Celtic goddess. I look for some pics and I quite enjoy the idea... Are you familiar with her?." She looked at me and bite her lips. "Well, yes, but I gain some weight during Christmas and it doesn't suit me as well as before."
"Yes, I know a little about her. It was a big deal in the Celtic culture. I think it will suit you... Chris told me something that they were trying to make him feel like a Greek god" I looked at her and then I started to watch every single movements she did. "I don't feel like you gain anything but you need to feel good in whatever you will wear."
"By the way, I talked to Chris and he will be flying the 2nd but I asked his agent and we both are going to flying together the 4th, the premier is the 5th, right?" She went out from the changing room with a beautiful green dress." Yes, something more loose but comfortable enough to dance all night long. Do you like this one?"
"Thank you... at least we can enjoy some girl time in the plane." I ended my coffee. " I think you look amazing in everything, you seem like you are glowing. Did you do something to your hair?"
"Some girl time if you don't spend all time with your nose in your laptop." She said laughing." Thank you, Juls. Why don't you try in a dress or something? Just for fun!" I looked at her, she was trying to hide something for me. I stood up and looked at all the dresses they had in the store but when I looked at the price tag I knew I couldn't afford any of them. "Just for fun" I kept trying to remember when I went into the changing room. But it was such a bad idea when I put on a beautiful gold dress with sequins and a heart neckline. I walked to Lizzie and she gasped. "YOU LOOK SO HOT!" I laughed while checking myself in the mirror. It was just so perfect. "You need to buy it."
