"Are you really going to go to Vancouver to see your family?" We were at Chris' house back in Boston. It was the day after his birthday and some of our friends were still there. The weather was specially sunny and so hot that Scott and I were landing in the grass trying to get some cold air in the shadows of the trees. While Lizzie and Sebastian were in the deck drinking some lemonade and having a good time. Chris, Anthony and Robbie were in charge of doing dinner that day. "Can you take me there where I wouldn't melt like an ice cream?"
I started to laugh at the idea while I watched at Lizzie glowing. Sometimes I felt so lucky to have such an amazing live, having so good friends and being able to just enjoy a day without doing anything. I rolled so I would be laying on my back and I smiled. "I haven't seen them since Christmas and my niece birthday is soon. So I think it will be nice spending some time with them. I don't want them to hate me or not being able to recognize me."
"So are you going to take big bear over there with you? Or I would have to take care of him and giving him his walks and food?" I started to laugh so hard that my cheeks were hurting. I looked over the deck and Chris was there bringing some snack to our friends and giving me a sweet smile.
"You will have to check on him, sorry. He has some work to do and he PROMISED me." I shouted so he could listen to me. "To make some room in his closet for my clothes." Everyone started to laugh while he turned so red that an airplanes could see him from the sky.
"I KNOW! I know!" He started to yell. "I will do it, don't worry!"
"If you are going to throw away some stuff, I wouldn't mind to get off of your hands that bomber I really like." Seb said, receiving in exchange a little hit in his arm by my boyfriend.

As soon as I landed in my brother's house, his two kids knocked me out like a rugby player. These days were amazing. The weather was colder than in Boston, so being able to wear a sweater while going out was a dream. I spent the days with my family, just absorbing any drop of their smell, of the way there were, they existing. It was like being able to recharge my batteries.
"So, pretty face wasn't able to make it, huh?" My brother said while giving me a beer and sitting next to me in his deck.
"Really? You don't like him. What is this all about?" I said raising an eyebrow and trying to turn off his cigarette. "You told me you were going to quick smoking."
"I know, I know... But preparing a princess/ ninja party for your daughter is a nightmare. Do you know how many costumes did she take down? And she is mad at me because your boyfriend is not here and she thinks he hates her."
"But I explained to her that he was busy.."
"She is 4 years old. Her concept of busy is not the same as us." He smiled and took a sip of his beer. "So, you are moving to Boston, work on Harvard and famous actor boyfriend. My lil sis is getting bigger. Now, we only are missing the diamond in your ring."
"For lord sake, Luke! You sound just like mom!"

My nightmare? Being in a birthday party full of 4 to 5 years old kids screaming and yelling to everything and running from corner to corner nonstop. Everything was exhausting. Painting the kids faces, making sure anyone get hurt. I could see the pain in my brother's eyes every time a kid something that seemed like a threat. At some point at the party a ninja with a tutu and a crown appeared, making all the kids laugh. Ana had sparkles in her eyes when she saw it. She was so happy. Definitely, she was a weird kid but she was so lovely and with such a huge imagination. In her mind everything was possible.
When every kid sat to blow the candles and have a piece of cake. I was able to finally sat and have a beer. I closed my eyes and just enjoyed the cold air that was starting with the first hint of night. "Drinking in a children party, you are a badass." I opened my eyes and looked at the ninja/princess that was standing next to me. He leaned over me, putting his hand over the arms of my sit, making me want to run away. "I can't believe you! You haven't recognized me yet! Even Ana knew who I was!" He sighed and took off his mask. "Better now, babe?"
"Chris! What are you doing here?! You were supposed to be filming!" I jumped into his arms, making both of us fall and laugh. I covered all his face in kisses and when we recovered from the fall, he lifted me and make me spin.
"Well... I wanted to surprise you. And Luke called me to have some help being a ninja/ princess/ fairy... I don't know what I am anymore." He laughed.

"So, Ana. Are you happy that Chris is here?" I said with my niece in my arms, both exhausted from the day we had. We were sat on the wood swing that my brother had installed in his front deck. I was brushing her hair and she was just enjoying being spoiled like that. The boys were picking everything from the party. I looked at Chris, finally dress as a normal human being and he flashed me with one of his sweetest smile.
"Yes. And he is a ninja. His is Captain America, a ninja, a prince... He is a lot of things." I laughed with her words, full of happiness and joy. "I like him. Mom told me if you warry him, he will come to all my birthdays."
"What did you say?" She turn and looked at me with a very desperate look in her eyes. Like she said something so obvious and I didn't understand her.
"You know. Warry. When you love someone, you got warry. And live happily ever after. Like you and Chris. You are in love. So you should get warry."
"Do you mean marry?!" I said trying not to laugh at the ideas she had in her little mind.
"That's what I said!" She was mad at me. She jumped off my lap and run to her mother. Nat gave me on of those 'sorry' looks when Ana told her what happened. I looked at the picture. Chris with my family. Just being a normal family. And the words of little Ana resound in my head. I looked at Chris coming towards me with a huge smile. I know and idea was in his mind.
"There she is! The most beautiful of them all!" He put a crown in my head and his face just lighted up. "Do you want to dance, my princess?" He offered me his hand and grabbed mine, making me stood up from the swing.
"There's no music, Chris!"
"Don't worry." With his other hand, he grabbed his phone and put on some music. "See, you don't have any excuse." I laughed while he made me spin.
