Hey guys. I'm back from the dead. I can't believe it's been a whole month. Thank you to the people who waited patiently for this update. Picture of Angie by the side. Enjoy!!

Esther's POV

The flight was long...really long but finally I got to Toronto.

Before the flight I called my sister Angie that I would be coming to see Lucas. She was so excited because I only come like once every two months.

I go to the terminal to collect my luggage. It's not that heavy just some clothes and shoes.

I welcome the warm breeze of Toronto rather than the cold of Seattle. On my way out, I spot Angie looking casual but hot. She looks like mom with her long voluminous hair and grey eyes while I have my dad's green eyes and shoulder length scruffy jet black hair.

She's wearing a cream tank top and a denim jacket and black jeans with high tops. Her long black hair cascades in waves down her back and she's waving at me from the parking lot like a lunatic.

"Esther oh my God its been so long. How are you? I hope you don't mind but I brought Lucas. He really wanted to see you."

I stop in my tracks.

Lucas.

My baby.

My love.

Angie drags me to the car and I spot him leaning on the hood of the car. Wow, I didn't know puberty would hit him so fast.

He's all grown up.

Ugh you sound like a clingy soccer mom! Get it together.

I practically sprinted to him and enveloped him in a bone-cruching hug. He didn't mind though he just chuckled.
"Hey mom, I missed you!"he exclaimed smiling holding me at arms-lenght but his smile faded when he saw the sadness in my eyes. "Mom what's wrong? You look terrible.

Wow 16 years old and he was still blunt as ever.
" I'm just so excited to see you and I had a pretty long flight honey. I missed you so much. Look how grown up you are. You must have a lot of admirers at school."

He groaned. "Mum that is so embarrassing. Aunt Angie please make her stop!" He said while looking at Angie pleading with his eyes.

"Sorry Lulu but she's your mum. Can't do anything about it." she said smirking. I narrowed my eyes at her suspiciously before looking back at Lucas.

"Okay as much as I love this little reunion, I really need to sleep before I collapse on the ground from exhaustion."

"Okay I'll drive" Lucas said, getting into the driver's seat.
I narrowed my eyes at Angie. "You let him drive?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"He can be very persuasive!" she said shrugging her shoulders.

The drive was short but it was nice since we were all chatting about random topics.

When we arrived at the house, I instantly felt at home. I went to the guest room also known as my room since I'm the only one that visits.
I showered and changed into my pajamas. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light. I slept with one thing in my mind.

Leon.
