My heart is hammering in my chest from looking at him and anger courses through my veins at the thought of everything that he did to me. How he left me and didn't bother to even say goodbye.
"J-joshua what are you doing here? Look if you came to beg me to come back to you-" I'm cut off by Joshua grabbing my throat and smashing me to the wall.
What the hell.
"Okay you slut, listen and listen good. I did not come for you because I do not love you. I even told you that on the day of our farce of a marriage but you chose not to listen. Did you actually think I would stay with you, no because I do not love you! "
The anxiety on his voice is recognizable and I can tell that he didn't want to see me but someone forced him.
"My mother told you to come and see me didn't she?"
He let go of my throat and began raking his fingers through his hair forcefully.
Don't get me wrong he is a calm man and I'm sure something is troubling him for his to forcefully handle me like that.
"Yes she did. I don't know how to tell you this but..."
"But what Joshua would you just spit it out already! My God just get to the point."
"He knows okay your dad knows everything."
My heart chattered into a million pieces. But I had to make sure I knew what he was talking about.
