Howard heard the Oval Office door open, and he thought nothing of it. He figured it was just Morris. He was silently wishing it was his husband John, but John was off on a mission for another four days, so it wasn't John.
He didn't even look up from his desk. That was until he heard the voice.
"I hope you don't mind if I let myself in Mr. President?" Howard heard John say in his beautiful voice.
It had always been their thing to say the first thing they said to each other everytime John came home from a mission,
" I hope you don't mind if I let myself in Mr. President?", to which Howard replied, "Into the Oval Office, who the hell are you"
Which is exactly how Howard greeted John now.
Then he leapt up from his chair and barreled into John in a bear hug, which John happily returned.
Soon they left to go to bed.
