Chapter 1

Hi! I will say this before you continue to read there is no punctuation in this, if you don't wanna read it that's cool but I do not want comments about it since I told you. 

Childes pov 

It was my first day as a new teacher an English teacher at that I was warned about the class I was teaching from now on there were so many teachers that quit after some kid picked on them and pranked them I didn't care to much for pranks 

I opened the door to the class then a bucket fell onto me dumping water on me I stood there as another teacher came in "Xiao!" I took the bucket off my head pushing my hair back I looked at the teacher he had long brown hair he was a bit taller than me I'm pretty sure Jean said his name with Zhongli he grabbed a student by the arm pulling him away from his friends I just stood there watching he walked over to me and grabbed my arm "I'll call Jean just come with me" I didn't say anything 

He took me to the staff room Xiao sat at Zhonglis desk crossing his arm I sat at mine looking at him Zhongli was on the phone with Jean I was cold Zhongli walked over putting a towel on my head I started to dry it "I'll do it" He started to dry my hair as he got mad at Xiao "I'm sorry for my son.." He sighed I looked at Xiao "Wait son?" Xiao seemed pissed off "I'm not your son" I just sat there as Zhongli dried my hair still "You are just accept it already it's been like 7 years" Xiao glared at me I looked away a bit Zhongli put his forehead on the towel which was still on my head he sighed I raised my hand to pat Zhonglis head but Xiao grabbed my arm "Don't you dare touch him" Zhongli just walked over to his desk grabbed a hoodie he handed it to me I looked at him "Just wear this your pants aren't wet right?" I shook my head "No they aren't it's just my shirt" He nodded "Just wear that then you should take off your shirt to let it dry" I smiled at him "Thank you" Jean walked in "Oh! Childe we are going drinking after work as a celebration for you working with us you're coming right?" I looked at her "Yeah sure" Zhongli and Jean started to talk Xiao grabbed my arm I looked at him "If I tell you where we live can you bring him home safely?" He seemed mad but worried at the same time I smiled and nodded "Of course I don't really drink so I can do that" He let go of my arm "Go change now jeez" I nodded and walked out heading to a washroom 

When I got back Zhongli was sitting at my desk Xiao was still at Zhonglis "Sorry" Xiao looked at me I was shocked "O-oh it's okay um can I go back to class now?" Zhongli nodded "Yeah take Xiao with you" Xiao got up walking over to me "If he does anything else make sure to tell me" I looked at Xiao "Sounds good" We walked out "If it's nothing big I won't tell him" He glared at me "Whatever also I'll write down where I live after class" I ruffled his hair he hit my arm we walked into class a teacher was just watching the class Xiao went to sit down I talked to the other teacher for a minute before they left 

After class when everyone left Xiao put a piece of paper on my desk I smiled at him "I'll bring him home to you" He nodded "He drinks a lot" I laughed a bit "Okay now go enjoy your break.. Oh Xiao I know you're not in my class for the rest of the day but if you need a break from class you can come in here I'll stay quiet but you have to do your work I'll even help you" He just stood there at the door for a second then walked out I smiled and leaned back rubbing my face  

I was just sitting there doing my work during my free period when the door opened I looked up seeing Xiao he said nothing as he walked to his seat I looked down at my work and continued to do it "Childe can you.. uh help me?" I got up and walked over to him "I told you I would" 

The bell rang for the next class Xiao got up "I have a class to teach this period so if you need to come here just sit in my chair and do you work I'll help you when I can" He nodded and started to walk out as people came in I walked over to my desk greeting people Zhongli came in he looked at me "How was first period with Xiao?" I laughed a bit "It was fine" He sighed a bit probably of relief I sat down "I'll make sure to tell you if I have a problem" We talked until class started he went to his class I started to teach 

I was starting to think that Xiao didn't need to come here I helped students when he came in he seemed really pissed off I looked at him as he sat in my seat I finished helping the student I was helping I walked over to him "Hey are you okay?" He glared at me "I got kicked out.. for just walking into the class" I stood beside him "I'll talk to your teacher after class okay?" He nodded and did his work I stood around for a bit then started to help other students they all seemed to like me which as nice I'm surprised Xiao was around me as well he wasn't gonna stop with his pranks I knew that but he was warming up to me 

I walked down the hall with Xiao as we walked to his classroom I knocked on the door I walked in "Hello! You're the new English teacher right?" I smiled "I am and you are?" She laughed a bit "I'm Keqing what brings you to my classroom?" I looked at her Xiao was standing beside me "Did you kick Xiao out for walking into your class?" She nodded "I did I do not want him in my classroom" I sighed "Well then send him to my classroom with the work he's welcomed there" I walked out with him I patted his head he hit my arm like last time I smiled "Don't tell Zhongli about any of this" He glared at me I laughed "Okay I won't don't worry"
