Chapter 2

Casey's P.O.V
We all fell asleep out the back with the fire still lit. I was the first one to wake up and the fire was still burning. I seen someone's arm around me and looked beside me to see Danni. She looked so cute asleep. Looking through my phone, I seen the lads took loads of selfies and photos of me and Danni. We must've been the first two to fall asleep.

James woke up about two minutes after me. He managed to fall on the ground last night while he was sleeping. I heard James mumble something. "Mate you awake?" I asked. Stupid question Casey, of course he's awake, he just said something. "Yeah mate what's up" James said, sitting at the end of the chair Danni and I was on. Me and James were talking for about a half an hour when Danni woke up.

"Morning" She yawned, stretching. "Morning" James and I replied in unison. "Is it only you two up?" She asked. "Yeah, the lads should wake up soon. Not sure about Jake though" James laughed. Danni put back on my hoodie, she must've been cold. "Again, that's my hoodie" I laughed. "No shit Sherlock, we've been through this yesterday. Your hoodie is comfy and I'm cold. You're not getting the back" She laughed. "That's my favourite hoodie" I whined. "Tough shit, it's mine now" she laughed.

Danni's P.O.V
Casey and I were mess arguing over his hoodie. "Tough shit, it's mine now" I said. I was going to give it back to him, I'm just really cold. It's 10 in the morning, I'm in pyjama shorts and a vest top and we stayed out the back last night and Casey's hoodie was the only thing keeping me warm. James went over to Jade, Chloe and Charlie.

"I'll give it back to you, I'm just freezing" I said, turning around so I can look at him fully. "It's fine, have it if you want. I have loads of hoodies. I was just messing with you. Besides you look cute in it" He said, I hid my head in my hands, blushing. As soon as he said that, his eyes went wide. "Erm I didn't mean to say that out loud, sorry" He said, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "It's fine, wanna forget about it? Act like it never happened?" I asked. "Can we? I mean you are cute but -" "Casey it's fine, lets never speak of it again" I laughed, cutting Casey off.

Casey's P.O.V
I can't believe I just said that. As soon as I said it, she began blushing and my eyes went wide. "Erm I didn't mean to that out loud, sorry" I said, scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. "It's fine, wanna forget about it? Act like it never happened?" She said. She reacted better than I expected. If I said that to any other girl and then say I didn't mean it, they would've slapped me. "Can we? I mean you are cute -" "Casey it's fine, lets never speak of it again" She laughed.

This is what I liked about her, I mean I know her a day and I told her I thought she was cute and then I didn't mean it and she was chill about the whole situation. If it was anyone else, they would've smacked me and probably cried to be honest.

Most of us were awake now, it was just Chloe and Jake that was still asleep. We were all sitting around waiting for them to wake up so we could go inside. We would've woke them but they get really cranky if you wake them, trust me, I've learned from experience. We were all wrapped up in the blankets Julie gave us last night and trying to get some warmth from the remaining flames of the fire. I had my arm around Danni and the blanket wrapped around us, Danni was cuddled into my side trying to get some warmth. Jade and James were the same as me and Danni.

Chloe woke up a few minutes later. So we were just waiting for Jake. Julie came out a few minutes later. "Did you all sleep out here last night?" She asked. We all nodded since we couldn't speak as we were too cold. "You're all mental" she laughed, walking back in. She reappeared a few minutes later with a glass of water. She walked over to Jake and poured it over him.

We all went inside and grabbed some duvets and all cuddled around the fire. We were all literally cuddling each other on the sitting room floor in front of the fire trying to get some heat into us. Julie came in a few minutes later with hot chocolate for us. "Thank you Julie" we all said in unison. I'm not gonna lie, I still feel a bit awkward with Danni since the whole thing where I called her cute then said I didn't mean it. Was she only acting like she didn't care or did she actually not mind the whole thing, that she know it was an accident?

Danni's P.O.V
When we were all awake, we ran into the sitting room and grabbed duvets and cuddled around the newly lit fire. Julie came in with some hot chocolate for us all. We were all just sitting around like last night, just talking and laughing.

I could tell Casey was still felt a bit awkward from earlier. I don't know why though, I know he didn't mean to say it like I know it was an accident. Does he think that I'm just saying I don't care and I'm actually upset that he didn't mean it? Ugh boys are confusing.

"I literally do not want to move at all today, lets have a lazy day/movie marathon" Charlie said. We all agreed and found comfy spots on the chair. Jake was on the two seater and Casey ran over to him. Jade and Chloe shot me questioning glances and I just shrugged my shoulders. I sat on the three seater with Barclay and Tom. And Chloe, Reece, Jade and James were on one bean bag and Charlie and Chris was on the other one.

"Danni, will you help me get something upstairs?" Chloe asked. I got up and walked up to her room. "I know you don't want me to get anything for you, you'd ask Reece to do that for you" I said, sitting on her bed. "What's up with you and Casey? I mean like last night and this morning you two were all cuddly and shit and now he's barely talking to you, I can tell that he's a bit awkward around you now" Chloe said. "Nothing's wrong. He accidentally called me cute this morning and then said he didn't mean it and I asked if he wanted to forget about it like I don't really care. He probably just thinks that he hurt me when he said he didn't mean to call me cute" I said. "But he didn't?" Chloe asked unsure. "Nope, I don't care. I could tell that it was an accident and he didn't actually mean to say it" I said. "So you're not upset that he called you cute then said he didn't mean it?" She asked. "Nope, I'm grand" I said.

Casey's P.O.V
When Danni and Chloe went upstairs, everyone turned to look at me. "What?" I asked. "What's up with you and Danni? I mean like last night and this morning you two were all cuddly and shit and now you're barely talking to her. I can tell that you're a bit awkward around her now" Reece said. "Nothing happened. I accidentally called her cute this morning and then said I didn't mean it. She asked if I wanted to forget about it and act like it never happened and she didn't really care that I accidentally called her cute, she said it was fine when I kept apologising" I said. "So why you awkward around her if she knows you didn't mean to say it?" Jade asked. "Because I feel like she's just saying she doesn't care but really I hurt her when I said I didn't mean it" I sighed.

I found one girl that I genuinely like and get along with and I blew it. Way to go Casey, you eejit. "Casey, if Danni was hurt do you think she would've kept your hoodie on or sat beside you or even cuddled with you?" Tom said. "No but -" "Well then, she's not upset Casey" James said, cutting me off.

Chloe and Danni came down a few minutes later. "Danni, can I talk to you outside?" I asked, scratching the back of my neck. Danni and I walked outside and sat down. "I just want to say I'm sorry for blanking you inside. I just thought that you were upset when I said I didn't mean it when I called you cute, that you were just saying you didn't care so I wouldn't feel bad" I said, looking at her. "If I did care do you think I would've kept your hoodie or cuddled you?" She asked. "No, sorry" I said, looking down. "It's fine Casey, I know it was an accident that it just slipped out" She said. "So we cool?" I asked, looking at her. "Yeah, we cool" She smiled. We stood up and I pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead. We walked back in and sat down.

Danni went back over to where she was sitting but I grabbed her waist and pulled her onto my lap. "So you two alright now?" Jade asked, laughing. "Yep, we cool again" Danni laughed. We went on Netflix and Chloe put on Grease. Her, Danni and Jade ran into the kitchen to grab sweets, drinks and popcorn.
