Chapter 8

Danni's P.O.V
Jade and James went to visit James' family yesterday. James wanted to properly introduce Jade to his family since he didn't get to at Reece's surprise party last week. The lads and Mia went out last night so it was just me, Reece, Chloe and Charlie at home last night.

I was in Tesco buying some more food when I decided to look for a new CD to leave in my car. Walking to the isle where the CDs and DVDs were places, one CDS in particular caught my attention. Walking over to it, I picked it up and looked at the back of it to see what songs were on it. "That's a great CD" I heard someone shout in my ear, just as I placed it into my trolley. Jumping back, startled, I bumped into the the person behind me. I turned around to see none other than my old best friend, Dean Lemon.

"DEAN OH MY GOD" I shouted, jumping up and hugging him. "It's been years since I seen you dumbass" Dean laughed, hugging me back. "It's been like 6 years oh my god" I said. "How have you been anyways" Dean asked, walking beside me as I continued to look at the CDs. "Grand, moved into a new house last month with Charlie, Chloe, Jade and some of our other mates. How about you" I said, putting Ed Sheerans CD in the trolley. "Good, going on a tour of the UK and Ireland next week for a month. Can't wait to meet some fans" Dean said.

I ended up getting the new Ed Sheeran, Room 94, Sam Smith, Hozier, Olly Murs and Now that's what I call music CD. "So anyone special in your life" I winked. "Actually yeah, I have a girlfriend, Lacey. How about you, any boyfriends going" he asked. "Nope, single as a Pringle" I laughed. "Ah come on, what about that fella your always posting pictures with on FaceBook?" He asked. "Casey? We go on like a couple like I rob his hoodies and were always cuddling and all but we've never kissed and he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend so" I said. "You'll find someone soon Danni. How long have you and Casey been like that?" He asked. "6/7 months" I said, putting some pizza in the trolley. "Jesus Danni, that's a long time to be fair" he said. "Yeah I know. Wait are you talking about Lacey as in brace face Lacey, the one I told everything to" I said. "That's the one, we're together 4 years" he smiled, grabbing a can of Red Bull.

We walked to the check out and paid for our stuff. "Why don't we go out to grab some food later? You know, catch up as mates and then you can come back to the house, I'm sure the lads and Lacey would love to see you again" he said, helping me put the shopping in my car. "Yeah sure, that would be great, I'd love to see everyone again" I said. "Can I have your number and I'll text you when I'm outside?" He asked, handing me his phone. We swapped numbers and I got in my car and drove home.

When I got home, Casey, Chloe, Reece and Jake helped me bring the stuff inside. When all the food was put away I ran upstairs and got ready for tonight. I didn't bother getting dressed up all fancy seeing as we'd probably just end up going Nandos. "Where you off to" Casey asked, sitting on the bed as I finished my make up. "I'm going out with my mate Dean, why?" I asked, putting on some lipgloss. "Wait so you're going out with another fella even though we've basically been with each other the past 6 months? You're unbelievable" he shouted. "You're not my boyfriend! Literally all we've done the past 6 or 7 months we've known each other was cuddled and I robbed your hoodie, that doesn't mean we're with each other" I argued back. "So all everything you've said to me meant nothing" he spat. "DANNI, DEANS HERE" Chloe shouted up to me. "ONE SEC" I shouted back. "Casey, what the fuck are you on about. What do you mean 'everything you've said to me meant nothing' what did I say to you that implied that we were together and plus Dean has a girlfriend and even if he didn't he's like a brother to me, I haven't seen him in six fucking years" I asked, putting on my timberland heels. "Forget it, I'm done. Go whore around with everyone you fucking lay eyes on" he said, storming out of the room. Fuck him, I'm not letting him ruin my night. I haven't seen Dean in six years and I'm not letting Casey ruin my fun.

I walked down stairs and put on my leather jacket. "Ready?" I smiled. "Yeah sure, lets go" Dean smiled, linking his arm in mine. "I'll see you all later" I shouted as I closed the door. As I predicted, we went to Nandos. We ordered our food and talked about everything and when our food arrived, we made small talk. About an hour and a half later, we decided to go back to the apartment Dean shared with his bandmates and his girlfriend.

We arrived at his around 15 minutes later to a pretty new looking set of apartment blocks. We got the lift up to his room and walked in. "DANNI IS THAT YOU OH MY GOD" Lacey shouted, pulling me into a hug. "Lacey! I've missed you so much oh my god" I said, hugging her back. "DID SOMEONE SAY DANNI WAS HERE" I heard Kieran shout. "Yep, I'm in the hall Kier" I shouted back, still hugging Lacey. I walked into the sitting room to be tackled by 3 lads that I haven't seen in years.

Casey's P.O.V
"Forget it, I'm done. Go whore around with everyone you fucking lay eyes on" I said, storming out of Danni's room. I walked into my old room which is now the guest room and punched the wall and shouted. I fucked this up. I didn't mean to call her a whore. I got jealous. Fuck why do I have to be such an idiot. I need to make it up to her and soon. I don't know what I'm going to do without her.

As cliche as this sounds, I need Danni in my life. We've become so close and then I go and fucking ruin it. Sighing, I sat on the edge of the bed. I noticed a picture of Danni and I. I'm kissing her cheek and she's smiling. We both look so happy, why did I have to fuck up. Getting angry again, I picked the picture up and threw it at the wall. Hitting the floor, the glass in the frame smashed.

"Casey, is everything alright?" Chloe asked worriedly. She seen the two holes in the wall from where I punched them and broken picture frame and shot me a worried glance. "I fucked up" I said, holding my head in my hands. "What happened?" She said, sitting beside me and resting a comforting hand on my shoulder. I looked at her and she sent me a reassuring smile as if to say that I can tell her anything and she'll always help me when I need it.

I told her everything that happened. Maybe she can help me get Danni to forgive me. "Casey, I'm not going to say she'll forgive you but I will help you try get her to forgive you again. I seen how you two look at each other. I may be only 16 but I know that you two look at each other with love" she said.
