Chapter 21

Danni's P.O.V
We were all in our pyjamas setting up for the party. It was Jakes 21st and we were having a party in the house just for us and our family. We were going to have a bigger party next Saturday because all the venues we wanted were booked out. When everything was set up, we all went upstairs to get ready.

The girls and I were in my room and the boys were in different rooms. After we washed out tan and washed our hair, we dried and styled it and done our make up. We had music blaring and we had a few drinks as well.

I ended up doing Everyones hair and make up because I done a course on hair and beauty which meant I was the last to get ready.

"Danni I love it oh my god! You're so good" Parisa said, looking in the mirror. When I finished Parisas make up, I got dressed and since we had about 20 minutes to kill, we decided to do what girls usually do: have a photoshoot.

"Girls come on, the guests are arriving" Mikey said, knocking on the door. We walked downstairs and met the boys in the kitchen. "Wheres Jake?" I asked Casey, shouting over the music. He pointed over to where the food was. I gave him a kiss and walked over to Jake.

"Happy birthday fuck face!" I shouted over the music, hugging him. "Thanks Danni, you look amazing" he laughed. "Well if isn't the one and only Danni!" Teresa shouted.

"T! I've missed you!" I shouted back, hugging her. "I've missed you too! So you and Casey huh" she smirked. I just laughed. "4 months tomorrow" I said. "Where's Jakes girl? I have baby pictures here for her" she laughed. "She's over there with Chloe. Where's Syd?" I said. She pointed over to Casey.

I walked over to Casey and Sydney and covered Sydney's eyes. She turned around and hugged me as soon as she seen who I was. "Hey Syd" I said over the music, hugging her back. I talked to her for a bit before she ran off to find Jake.

"You look amazing tonight babe" Casey smiled, kissing me. "You don't look so bad yourself" I said. He was wearing a black shirt with some ripped jeans and converse and his hair was quiffed the way it usually is. "So Dannielle, who's this?" My mam asked. "Mam, dad, this is my boyfriend, Casey. Casey, this is my mam and dad" I said.

"Why don't we go out the back and talk? It's too loud in here hun" my mam said. All four of us walked out the back and sat down at the table and chairs.

Chloe's P.O.V
Danni's mam and dad came up to me, looking for Danni. "She's with Casey, in the kitchen" I smiled, wrapping my arm around Reece. "You and Reece huh" Her mam smirked. Danni's parents treat me like their child as well so I tell her mam everything as well as my mam so her mam knew I liked Reece before we got together.

"We already know Reece so he isn't going to get questioned, we know what he's like. Dannielle's boyfriend on the other hand, he needs to be questioned" her mam laughed. "She's in the kitchen at the sink" I smiled, hugging them.

"I've missed her parents to be honest" Reece said. "Wait, Casey's parents are here and so are Danni's. If Caseys parents end up talking to Danni's parents, shit can go down and ruin the party" Reece added. "I doubt that they'd talk, they don't know each other" I said.

Reece and I walked into the kitchen as Casey, Danni and her parents walked out the back. "I haven't seen Jake actually, I forgot to wish him a happy birthday earlier because we were setting up" I said. "I think he's with Chet and Connor where the food is" Reece said.

We looked for Jake and found him in the sitting room dancing with Alex. "Jake, happy birthday. I forgot earlier" I laughed hugging him. Jake, Reece, Alex and I start talking and dancing along with the music.

Danni's P.O.V
"Danni, can we talk to you by yourself?" My mam said, drying her eyes from laughing so much. "I'll meet you inside. I'll be in the sitting room at the fireplace" Casey said, getting up and giving me a kiss.

"So, what do you think?" I asked. "We love him, he's so funny and I can tell that he loves you by the way he looks at you when your talking and laughing" my mam said. "He seems nice, I prefer him to Lucas" my dad said. "Let's go back inside, its cold and were missing the party" I said.

We walked in and I walked to where Casey said he'll be and seen him there with Alex, Jake, Chloe, Reece, Connor, Chet, Taylor and Coral. "Hey" I smiled, hugging everyone, shaking Connor and Taylor's hand and kissing Casey. "What happened? Do your parents like him?" Chloe asked. "They love him" I smiled.

It was time for Jake to cut the cake. Jade turned off the music as we all gathered around him to sing happy birthday. Sydney was carrying the cake with the help of Teresa.

After Jake had blown out the candles, I snuck up behind him and shoved his face in the cake. We had two cakes for him because we planned this earlier. Jake turned around to me with a smug look on his face.

"Jake don't you dare" I warned, walking backwards as best as I can because I was in heels. Jake start chasing me. Running in heels wasn't a good idea, I was going like 1 mile every two hours and Jake was right behind me.

Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and pulled my backwards. Jake pulled me into a hug and put cake in my face. "Payback" is all he replied, smirking.

Caseys P.O.V
I was standing beside my parents as Danni pushed Jakes face into the cake. Everyone start laughing as he began chasing her with cake in his hands. "Casey aren't you worried that she's going to cheat on you?" My mam said. "No mam. Her and Jake grew up together so they're like family. Plus Jake has a girlfriend who is one of Danni's best friends. Please drop this, she's not going to cheat on me, she's not like that" I said, taking a sup of my drink.

Jake and Danni walked back in with cake on their faces. "Ehm I think you got a little something there" I laughed, pointing to all the cake on Danni's face. "Shit up you loser" she laughed. "You love me" I smiled.

Betsy came in with two towels and gave one to Danni. "Thank you" she smiled, hugging Betsy, being careful not to get any cake on her. It was a bit weird seeing my ex girlfriend and my girlfriend getting along especially since my ex tried to break us up at one point.

Danni wiped the cake off her face and put the dirty towel in the wash basket. Jake turned the music back on and we all danced. It was a great night, catching up with family, talking and dancing with friends and just having a laugh.

The party didn't end until late and most of the adults were drunk so they took the spare rooms and our rooms and we took the sitting room. Sydney and Lexi wanted to stay down with us.

Danni's P.O.V
Everyones family ended up staying because the adults were either drunk or too tired to drive. They took the room so the rest of us were in the sitting room.

"Tonight was great fun, thanks for an amazing night and thanks Danni for the cake in my fucking face" Jake said. "You're welcome" I laughed. Tonight was a good night. I'm glad my parents like Casey.

We watched a movie and ended up falling asleep half way through it. Lexi was lying with Chloe and Reece and Sydney was lying with Jake and Alex. I was the last one awake so I turned off the tv and fell asleep, cuddling Casey.
