The host: It's the 4rth round, Everybody! So We will have something different for this and next round. We will have.......Tag battles! Please check the monitors in the lobby right next to locker rooms. They will have your and and your partner's information, Trainers!
Ash: Let's check out our partners, Guys!
Gary: Yeah!
(They exited the locker room and found the lobby that the host had told them just about. Then they went to the monitor to check who their partner was.)
Gary: What! Unbelievable! I cant believe I got a dork! Let me re-check... Move!
Ash: What! I have you as partner.. Like a total jerk...
Gary: What do I do now? I am gonna lose...Oh man! :(
Ash: I am better at Battling than you!
Iris: Stop it, you two kids!
Gary: Whatever... Fine
(Gary shrugs. After finding out that they are partners, They accept the fact. They return to the locker room and wait for their turn.)
The host: Next up is..... Ash and Gary vs Alain and Iris!
Ash: Okay Gary, Let's do our best out there!
Gary: Yes, Ash!
(They shake hands.)

Iris: But you know, Your opponents are tough to beat!
Ash: We will see!
(They head out to the battlefield.)
Referee: This is a battle between Ash and Gary vs Alain and Iris. You Are allowed one pokemon each. Please send out your pokemon. There will be no substitutions..
Ash: Pikachu, Go!
Gary: Blastoise, Let's win!
Iris: Axew, Show them what we got!
Alain: Bisharp, Let's go!
Ash: Just that you know Alain that we will win!
Alain: Bring it on!
Garry: Water gun at Axew, Blastoise!
Alain: Use Dark pulse to block it off!
(Bisharp shoots a purple bam at the water gun attack.)
Ash: Pikachu, Use quick attack!
Iris: Slow Pikachu Down with Dragon Claw!
Axew: Axew Axew!
(Pikachu dashes towards Axeww who's claw turns white and hits him.)
Pikachu: Pika!
Gary: Use Hydropump, Blastoise!
Ash: Surround it with thunderbolt, Pikachu!
(Blastoise shoots large tornado of water at both the pokemon and pikachu surrpounds it with his thunderbolt. The opponent pokemon try to dodge but fail henceforth, fall down, fainted.)
Referee: Axew and Bisharp have fainted. So the winner of this round are Pikachu and Blastoise! That is Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum both from Pallet town! They proceed to the next round!
Ash: We did it!
Gary: Yeah!
