On that day, each island Kahunas go to the respective ruins of Alola's guardian deities Tapu Lele, Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini and Tapu Bulu and offer a prayer to the Blinding One, Necrozma who is believed to have created Alola. Then in the afternoon, The island guardians of Mele Mele island, Akala island and Ula' Ula island come together and participate in the festival held by the name of the Alola guardian deities. Then in the evening, people of Alola participate in the festival held by the island Kahunas. During the Festival, the people and Pokémon of the four islands shared their Z-Power with to help it regain its true form.
(Others just sat in awe at Lillie's explanation.)
Gary: You...sure...know a lot, Lillie.
(Lillie blushes.)
Lillie: Hehe, thanks!
Mallow: So, should we go to the festival in the evening?
Everyone: Yeah!
May: Now Let's go shopping, boys!
Ash: Why?
Serena: To buy outfits for the festival, silly.

Dawn: She wore a light red mini dress put together by a leather belt with some black leather shoes. She also wore black sunglasses.
Misty: She wore red tank tank top with kimono-styled cardigan with some shorts.
Iris: She wore a blue denim jacket above a black shirts with some jean shorts.
