Ginny's PoV:

I woke up earlier than normal this morning so I could write me letters and send them asap. At around ten past six I made my way down to the common room, finding it empty, and sat down at one of the tables nearest to the fire. Pulling out my quill, ink and some parchment, I tied to think of what to write. About ten minutes later, I still hadn't thought of anything so I just decided to start writing and just let my thoughts flow. It took me about twenty minutes before I finished it, checking it one last time before sealing it I decided it was good enough.

'Dear Mum and Dad,
I'm staying with Hermione for a few days over the Easter holidays. We plan to borrow her parents tent and stay in the woods near her house, we've both been stressed about Harry, the tournament and the attack so decided to just spend a few days relaxing. Don't bother sending owls because we'll be putting up safety wards just in case, I'll be coming back home for the rest of the holidays though, don't worry. I can't wait to see you again.
Love Ginny xx.'

The entire thing made me grimace and want to throw up just thinking about actually missing them. I realised I only had thirty minutes before people would started to come down to leave for breakfast so immediately started on the second letter. I found this one a lot easier to write because of all the excitement I had built up over the past few days, anticipating the upcoming reunion. Once I finished I checked it before sealing it like the first letter.

'Dear Mother and Father,
I have informed the Weasley's that I will be staying with my friend Hermione for a few days, which means I can come over, although I'm only free from Friday-Sunday I hope that's ok for you. If that is any problem I will fix it, I can't wait to see you again, I have to admit I do kind of miss your hugs mum. I hope I can move in for real soon but I know that is to dangerous in the current times.
Lots of love, Cassie xx.'

I quickly ran to the owlery with ten minutes left before sending both letters with two school owls. Once that was done, I headed down to the great hall where I hoped 'Mione would already be. Thankfully, I spotted her sat at the end of the Gryffindor table reading a book and eating toast. I made my way towards her sitting down opposite her and pouring myself some pumpkin juice. As I was looking round the hall, I made eye contact with a familiar blonde and smiled and when the owls flew in, I tried using hand signals to tell I sent a letter to our parents, I think he ended up understanding but I'm not sure because after a few minutes he just nodded with an unsure look in his eyes.

The rest of the day passed by uneventfully and me and Drake met up in the RoR again, discussing things and then explained my plans for the holidays. When he heard I could stay with them he started jumping up and down squealing like a two year old. It was nice that we had such a good bond and he said that next time we meet he's gonna bring Blaise and I should bring Hermione considering those are our best friends. I felt bad for Draco though because his only real friends were Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini and Theo Knott, everyone else is just his followers. That thought made me grateful for my friends and even though I was mad at the Weasley's I couldn't help but hope that Fred and George would still support me. They had always been there for me and that's why I prefer them over everyone else.

I woke up so excited for replies to my letters I had sent yesterday, that I ran over to Mione's bed at 7am and started jumping up and down. I couldn't wait to visit my real parents, but I was scared to how the Weasley's would react. If they ever found out that I knew they would probably find a way to send them all to Azkaban. I had managed to drag 'Mione to the great hall ten minutes early so we could eat without being interrupted by the mail.

Once we sat down, I grabbed a slice of toast, some eggs and apple juice and began eating not stopping to talk to Hermione. The boys came in about fifteen minutes later having slept in, they both started eating quite fast considering there was only thirty minutes until first class. Five minutes past before the familiar screeching of hundreds of owls flying into the hall rang in my ears, my eyes started scanning the room for Errol but instead an eagle owl landed in front of me holding its leg out for me to take the letter. A second owl, Errol, soon landed in front of me, well I say landed he pretty much fell from the sky. I took the letter and decided I would read the one I presumed was from the Malfoy's first. Sliding my fingers under the dark green wax seal, I gently opened the letter desperately trying not to rip the parchment.

'Dear Cassie,
We are extremely excited for you to come over, if it's ok with you we will pick you up from kings cross, but make sure to go to the muggle side as that is where we will wait for you so it's less likely to be seen. Draco explained your friends situation to us and we have been doing some digging but can't anything apart from some stories of children being taken but no one we know has lost a child. We are glad she is helping you and we will do everything in our power to help her find her parents and hope to meet her soon. Draco has mentioned to us that she is very beautiful and we're starting to think he might like her but it's just a suspicion. If you can, try and find out if he likes her or not because I think it would be fun to tease him all break. See you soon,
Love Mother & Father. Xx'

I was so happy they were excited and I was definitely going to find out if Drake likes 'Mione. My excitement instantly turned into hatred as I thought about how the Weasley's still act like I'm their daughter when my real family has been searching for years, it makes me sick. I carefully folded up the letter putting in my bag before reaching over to the letter from the Weasley's.

'Dear Ginny,
We don't think that it's a good idea that you go with Hermione, but as long as I get your plans checked with Hermione's parents then you can go but we will miss you and although I understand you need some time to your self it makes us sad that your missing Easter. We can't wait for you to come home,
Love Mum and Dad xxx.'

'Mione must've noticed my disgust and reached over to read letter, her face also contorted into a look of disgust. It's hard to believe that such 'kind' and 'loving' people are so horrible but you can't judge a book by its cover. I scanned the hall looking for the familiar the familiar grey eyes of my twin, when I found them, i signalled to the doors and got up before leaving. I stood waiting in the entrance hall for about a minute before he exited the hall.
"Drake I need your help, you know how I told the Weasley's the plan, well they wrote back and I don't know what to do."
"What do you mean?" I could tell he was confused so I handed him the letter telling him to read it.

Once he was done, he looked like he was ready to kill someone. It scared me slightly, causing my body to stiffen, but he must've noticed as his face softened and he pulled me into a hug apologising for scaring me. After a few minutes of hugging, I asked,
"What do I do? Should I tell 'Mione's parents what happened and ask them to lie to the Weasley's? I mean that could work but what if"
"Stop, your ranting again, there's no need to get stressed. I have got this covered."
"Thank you so much your the best brother anyone could ever ask for!" And with that we parted ways, heading back to our common rooms.

A/n: sorry this is such a bad chapter, I was stuck on what to write so I just made this but the next chapter will be better.
