A/n: I'm changing Ginny's name from Astrid to Cassiopeia because I dislike Astrid and Cassiopeia Malfoy has a nicer ring to rather than Astrid Malfoy.

Draco's PoV:

I was so glad that and Cassie and 'Mione got into Slytherin, though it was inevitable. Once they sat back down at our table and I looped an arm around 'Mione's shoulders, her throwing a mock glare in my direction. We talked a lot while we ate and made plans for later that evening, it felt so surreal being these happy. At the end of the breakfast, Snape came over and gave everyone our timetables, we had everything together. He also mentioned that 'Mione and Cassie would be sharing a dorm next to Pansy and Astoria's Dorm.

We all had History of Magic so we headed there, unfortunately joined by the large party of Gryffindorks we shared ALL of today's classes with, stupid Pottah. Pansy explained all of the Slytherin house rules to 'Mione, whilst Astoria was talking about boys to Cassie. Blaise and Theo messing around and shoving each other leaving me with Crabbe and Goyle, discussing the latest news from the Dark Lord.

When we arrived at class, we took our usual seats towards the back, avoiding all contact with the Gryffindor's apart from Potter, the Mudblood know-it-all and Weasel; who we served their customary battering. They sat down sending us glares before turning back to front to 'listen' to Professor Binns drone on about Goblin Wars in 1547. I mean, no one pays attention.

Once we were sure that Binns wasn't going to turn around and was thoroughly focused on the board, we started discussing our time tables. We found that we all had DADA with the Gryffindorks again and with our new Professor, who I'm sure most people already hate. She really isn't that, she literally looks like a toad that's been dressed up in pink by a five year old muggle. It's quite disgusting if I'm honest.

History of Magic seemed to last forever, before, finally the bell rang loudly, alerting us of end of lesson. Everyone practically flew out of the classroom, leaving Professor Binns in the middle of a sentence. We leisurely made our way to DADA, arriving on time and finding a seat.

The classroom has changed drastically from how Moody had it last year -dark, and filled with glass eyes- because it now has pink items speckled across the room, with the main pink feature stood aside the blackboard smiling at us, though it was clearly fake; more a sign of warning.

It was another few moments before everyone had sat down and she cleared her throat in her usual high pitched squeak.
"Good morning children,  I will be preparing you for your ordinary wizarding level examinations. O. W. L's. More commonly known as OWLS. Study hard and you will be rewarded, fail to do so and the consequences may be severe." She said, levitating the books to everyone. "Your previous instructions in this subject has been disturbingly uneven but you'll be please to know, from now on you will be following a carefully structured ministry approved course of defensive magic." She paused as she noticed Weasel's hand waving frantically in the air.
"Yes." Umbridge spat.
"Umm, there's nofing in here about using spells?" He said uncertainly.
"Well. I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom." Her tight lips giving away her pretences of innocence.
"We're not using magic!" Seamus exclaimed.
"You will be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way." Umbridge replied stiffly.
"What use is that if we're gonna be attacked, it won't be 'risk-free'." Harry countered.
"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class! It is the view of the ministry that a theoretical knowledge would be sufficient to get you through your examinations, which, after all, is what school is all about!" She sternly snapped.
"And how's theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there!" Harry said, raising his voice slightly.
"There is nothing out there dear, who do you imagine wants to attack children like yourself." Her tone was almost too sweet.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort!" Harry was very quickly loosing control over his emotions. Whispers flooded the room.
"Now let me make this quite plain. You have been told that a certain dark wizard is at large once again, this. Is. A. Lie." She stalked towards Harry, her face scrunched up, making it more toad like than usual.
"ITS NOT A LIE, I SAW HIM, I FOUGHT HIM!" He had finally lost all control, any common sense buried deep beneath a thick blanket of hatred.
"DETENTION!" She shouted, making her way back to the space beside the blackboard. "I will have obedience in my lesson!" Silence fell. Even Harry looked slightly taken aback.

After this little outbreak, the lesson proceeded, though it was awfully boring. My mind was left to ponder and immediately went to 'Mione. I mean I know she doesn't like me but I wish she did. I wish I could tell her that I, Draco Malfoy, have had a huge crush on her since the moment we met in our first year. The way her once frizzy curls now fall graciously in tight ringlets down her back, or the way her eyes glow like Autumn leaves in the summer sun. And that's even with the glamour, now she is even better, her dark main of hair very similar to her clamoured hair though darker and slightly less curly, one eye being piercingly, cold blue while the other stays the same warm brown as the glamoured version only slightly more dark, and mysterious rather than warm and calm.

Snapping out of my haze, I realised that everyone was packing up and Hermione and Cassie were giggling and glancing over at me. 'Oh god they saw me!' I thought, my heart racing. God, I really hope she doesn't guess that I like her because that would be really awkward considering she is my best mates sister, though I suppose him liking my sister is weird enough on it's own. I mean, I know he hasn't physically told me but I've caught him on multiple occasions staring wistfully at Cassie, and to be honest, it's starting to get on my nerves but it's only fair if I'm constantly goggling at his sister.

'Damn I sound like a love sick puppy'. I thought, as I exited the doors, Blaise and Theo trailing behind me.
Our next classes flew by and my mind never fully left the thought of 'Mione's hand in mine or her lips brushy gently against mine once again, but I'm almost completely sure she is not interested in me.

Blaise told Theo and Pansy of course, so they trapped me in the common room and overloaded me with questions; 'when are you gonna ask her out?', 'oh my god you would be so cute!', 'just admit it to her bro'. This carried on all the way until midnight when 'Mione and Ginny got suspicious and came down to check on Pansy who went up with them; me, Blaise and Theo decided it would be best to get to sleep before school tomorrow.

A/n: Sorry this took so long, I really don't have motivation but I'll keep updating slowly.
