Hermione's PoV:

When we reached the rugged stone wall parting the Slytherin common room and the rest of Hogwarts, we were greeted by Draco, Blaise and Pansy leaning against the entrance, talking with the Bloody Baron. As soon as they heard our footsteps on they all turned to face us smirking; well excluding the Baron of course. We said our goodbyes to Uncle Sev and turned to the entrance. Draco whispered the password, promising to tell us later; the cold grey stones blocking the way parted almost blending into each other.

The common room is exactly how I expected it to look, although I thought the windows looking into the Black Lake were just a rumour. The black leather sofa's sat around a very dismal looking fire with white flames climbing up the chimney above the ornate marble fire place. Emerald chandeliers hung from the ceiling in a diamond pattern, casting very little light on the already dark room. The only source of light was an ominous green glow pooling out of ceiling height windows which gave the onlooker a clear view of the bottom of the lake where only merpeople or, occasionally, the giant squid, could be seen.

Me and Ginny had been to deep in thought to notice Pansy head towards the large spiralling staircase which only went further done beneath the castle. She soon noticed our absence and called out to us, telling us to follow her to our dorm, or at least I hope for it to be our dorm. We we down a single flight of stairs before turning onto a dark corridor with more large windows lining one of the walls, casting, this time, a much darker, eerie green glow. We continued down this corridor for a few more feet before stopping at a door with the Parkinson Family crest emblazed on a plaque underneath the number 13.

I assumed that this is Pansy's dorm and that she is alone; probably curtesy of having some of the richest parents in the wizarding world below the Malfoy's and Riddle's -my parents. Her dorm was exactly as I predicted; it had neutral tones, dark greys and soft greens splashed across its walls and furniture. A considerably large amount of light was hanging over the room, spilling from a large chandelier at the centre of the high ceiling. Her four poster bed stood against a large window which spread across the majority of the back wall, her beds shadow creeping over the book shelves that stood to the left of the window. Two doors were leaning against each to the right of the bed -I assumed that they are the doors to her bathroom and wardrobe.

Pansy closed the door behind us and we sat down in her hanging swing seat that hung in front of the book shelves.
"Do you like my room?" Pansy asked pulling a fluffy grey blanket over our legs, in an attempt to fight of the cold.
"Ye, it's really nice, it's exactly what I imagined your room to look like," Me and Ginny said at the same time, laughing that we said the same thing at the same time. Pansy soon joined in our laughter and we were soon rolling around on the floor, crying whilst still laughing uncontrollably.

A few minutes later, once we had calmed down, we noticed that Blaise and Draco were standing in the doorway watching us.
"Why are staring at us like we murdered your mother" I said giggling.
"Well, we just came to ask if you wanted to come to our dorm room for a game of truth or dare." Blaise said with a slightly bemused tone.
"That would be nice." Ginny said stumbling getting up whilst still giggling slightly.

We all got up and headed out the door and along the cold corridor we passed through only thirty minutes ago. Less light was now coming from the windows, making difficult to see and making us rely on the faint white glow emitting from a Blaise's wand. They were lead up a twisting staircase which opened onto the common room, before going up another staircase, which lead to a similar corridor to the one the girls dorms were on. Blaise's room was one of the first dorms on its corridor, the Zabini family crest emblazoned above his name.

His room was covered in dark greys and greens; the room even larger than Pansy's, although it had a similar layout. Ivy climbed around a large, ornate mirror, which was leaning against a large wall covered in what I assumed was to the Zabini family tree (like the one at 12 Grimmauld place).
As my eyes wondered the room, I noticed Ginny smirking, standing over his bedside dresser. She gradually lifted something in her hand, smirking even more whilst letting her eyes flicker between studying the thing in her hands -which I now realised was a picture- and Blaise's stiff body.

He quickly strides over to her, reaching for the picture but she was to fast. She whipped out her wand and stunned him. Ginny tutted her tongue. "Well, dear Blaise, what do we have here?"
She inquired, stalking around his body, which lay helplessly on the floor. He was speechless, sending pleading glances towards Draco and I.
"If I'm not wrong, this is a picture of me. Now, the question remains as to why you had a picture of me under your pillow." She stated as an exciting smile slid onto my lips and Draco just smirked. God I love that smirk, I thought to myself. His eyes flickered towards mine and he gave me a look saying 'we are never going to let Blaise forget this moment.

Me, Draco and Ginny picked Blaise up a few minutes later and placing him on the bed, waiting for the spell to wear off, whilst us three say on his sofa facing the fire. It was a few minutes until Blaise came to join us and we ended up talking for hours, falling asleep on each other in front of the fire.

The next morning we woke up to Pansy shrieking at Blaise for using all the hot water; it was rather funny until she charmed him into a snail and he was almost crushed by Theo. Once we were all ready and Blaise was human again, we headed down to breakfast.

When we entered, the hall was already nearly full and sounds of laughter and grumbling complaints reverberated around the tables of annoyed students and their friends. Food was payed generously across the tables, consisting of toast, fruits, cereals, fried meats and every type of egg you can imagine. Jugs of pumpkin juice and coffee were distributed around the hall, the coffee favourited by older years and Snape whilst the pumpkin juice was favoured by the younger students and Dumbledore, who was merrily laughing at Moody who was grumbling about 'constant vigilance'.

Once everyone had eaten their full, Dumbledore stood up clearing his throat.
"Now, I'm sure you're all wondering why I'm keeping you from your first lesson, though I doubt you'll be worrying about missing it. Two of our students have recently come to need resorting, due to.... Information that is newly discovered. Can Hermione Riddle and Astrid Malfoy please make they're way towards the front of the hall." He finished, Draco flashing us kind smiles whilst Dumbledore visibly sneered in our direction.

The rest of the hall had gone completely quiet, waiting to see who it was and when they saw me and Gin with our glamour's off the hall broke into a loud ruckus of pissed of shouts and complaints, mostly from the Gryffindor's. Ron Weasley being the loudest and aiming his anger at Draco who just smirked back at Ron, enjoying the frustration this caused the Weasel.

I nodded to Uncle Sev and he took off the glamour's. Everyone could see us now, who we really are. They can finally see the truth. Everyone's mouths were agape, the entire Slytherin table now smirking as they saw us smirking towards them. Then someone's shout cut through the dense silence. "COME ON THEN, I WANT TO SEE IF WE'RE GETTING MORE SNAKES!" Blaise was now standing and waving his arms at Dumbledore impatiently. I heard Gin sigh beside me, chuckling slightly.

The old coot finally gestured for Ginny to sit down on the stool. Almost as soon as the hat was on her head it screamed "SLYTHERIN!" Much to Weasel's dismay, she happily jumped of the stool, smirking the famous Malfoy smirk as she strode to the Slytherin table and re-seating herself next to Blaise across from my empty seat.

As I sat down on the stool, silence across the hall once again. The hat was placed on my head and I could feel my heart beating through my robes. Everyone was only the edge of their seats, quite literally. Until the hat finally spoke. "Ahhh, Miss Granger or Should I say Riddle. You would do well in any house. Ahh and a parstlemouth, very interesting. It seems that the glamour placed on you wasn't only physical. You're very cunning and ambitious despite the bravery I see, I feel that you would do best in.... SLYTHERIN!" The hat finally bellowed, the rest of the hall still frozen with concentration and surprise that the know-it-all mudblood was in fact a Slytherin. Then shock flashed into anger on Ron's face.

"WHAT!" He all but screamed making all heads turn to him.
