I still had no clue why we needed to go to Daniel LaRusso's car dealership and I dont know what happened with my dad last night, so I am just going to go with my dad and see what's up.
I didn't think I needed to dress extraordinary so I just put on my greyish brown tracksuit (like the picture above.) and threw my hair up into a messy bun. "Adelaide are you coming?" dad called me, annoyed may I add.
"yes yes, I'm right here let's go."
I walked outside before my dad, he trailed behind shortly. I didn't see Dad's car anywhere, is that why we were going to LaRusso's? "Uhm hey dad, where is the car?" I asked still looking for his car.
"oh, last night, three teenagers drove into it. I called a tow truck to take it somewhere and fix it. they took it to Larusso's, and I dont want it there so we are going to get it." he replied putting on his sweater.
"mhm okay, and how do you suggest we get there?" I asked my dad shrugging my shoulders.
"I called a cab! look there it is!" he exclaimed as the cab pulled in front of our apartment.
"oh yay!" I responded, not excited at all.
I hopped in the backset, dad followed along behind me. the driver was super creepy, so I just leaned on dad's shoulder, scrolling through social media the whole drive.
when we got there dad and I got out and drove away. the dealership was huge! dad stopped to look at the sign that read, 'LARUSSO'. he sighed, put on his sunglasses and his hood. "dad. why are you dressed like... that?" I asked laughing at his appearance.
"I'm hiding so that way I dont run into that annoying Larusso," he said walking up to the door. I laughed a bit then followed along.
on the way in people kept asking us questions, and dad being dad, he said no to all of them with no hesitation.
"hey, how are you doing? would you be interested in"
"no."
we made it to the front desk, dad put his hood down and looked down at me as I was trying not to laugh.
"hi! Welcome to LaRusso! how can I help you?" the friendly lady at the desk greeted my dad and me.
"hi, I just need to pick up my car." dad told the lady unfolding the paper with all the information on it, handing it to her. "we are in a bit of a hurry."
she looked at the paper, "oh, this came in last night? it gonna take at least a couple of weeks. but well call you with an estimate." she said handing the paper back to dad.
"no, my car was not supposed to come here. I want it towed to a different body shop." dad replied rudely. I just glared at him.
"why? we have the number one service team in the Valley! we beat all prices. we kick the competition!" the lady said cheerfully towards me and my dad.
"I've heard it a million times. I just prefer to my business elsewhere." he said.
"dad stop your being rude." I whispered at him, he looked at me and ignored me.
the woman's smile dropped as she picked up the paper again.
"Thanks again for being returning customers! before you go, Mr. LaRusso wanted to thank you personally. let me go get him." dad and I heard someone say from behind, dad turned around to see the salesman walk away.
"can you hurry up? I gotta go." dad says to the lady. he wants to get outta here to avoid daniel.
"hold on... Uhm, it says your car is in one of our intake lots. I'll figure out which one." she said with a smile. she was slow but very nice.
