"moms? why?" I asked in shock.

"Robby hasn't been in school for a month. we need to talk to him," he replied. I smiled, I haven't seen Robby since the day we were separated.

"cool cool." I said trying to keep my cool.

I ran to my room to change, I was still in Miguel's clothes that carmen gave me. I changed out of Miguel's shirt and put on a brown sweater with a black bralette under it, some black ripped jeans and black converse. (like the picture above.)

we walked outside our apartment to Miguel waiting, I smiled at him. Miguel started sadly, "hey, sensei, my mom says that I cant train with you guys anymore, but I had this idea that if we went to the dojo before—" dad interrupted him.

"you dont get it, kid. there is no dojo... I'm closing it up. it's over."

"what about me? i... I need you." Miguel asked with hurt in his eyes.

"sorry, kid. I gotta go. come on Adelaide." he walked away. I stayed back with Miguel.

"Miggy, I'm so sorry," I said as I pulled him into a hug, he sighed heavily as he rubbed my back. "I was going to go with my dad to my mom's but, id rather go to school with you," I said as I looked up at Miguel. he nodded and I pulled out my phone to text my dad.

I sighed a put my phone in my pocket. "ready?" I asked holding my hand out, he nodded and grabbed my hand.

"so, that's it? no more karate?" Demetri asked Miguel and me.

"I guess so."

"yep." Miguel and I said in unison as I laid my head on his shoulder.

"it's probably for the best. it was starting to boost your confidence, both of you." Demetri stated.

"that's a good thing dumbass." I replied.

"no. it's not. what has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash." Demetri finished.

"Well, uh, I thought it was kinda cool how you stood up to Kyler." Eli spoke up softly.

"are you insane?" Demetri exclaimed. "let me ask you. what is the best superpower anyone can have?"

"super strength." Miguel and I said in sync.

"wrong. invisibility. a distant second would be super speed to run away fast." then Kyler and brucks came in.

"run away from who?" Kyler asked grabbing Eli's shoulder, causing me to jerk my head off of Miguel's shoulder.

"whom." Brucks corrected. "it's the object of preposition. remember English class." Brucks finished slapping Kyler's shoulder.

"We were just leaving." Miguel said grabbing his stuff and my hand.

"hey where are you going? oh, look at this freak." Kyler said grabbing Eli's neck and holding his face. "oh shit! what kinda girl would ever kiss this shit?" Kyler asked snickering.

"I have." I jumped in.

"leave him alone Kyler." Miguel demanded.
