"All three of us should hang out, Friday?" I asked tory and Miguel as we were stretching in the dojo.

"cant. working at the roller rink." tory stated.

"great. well, then Adelaide and I can go there and make it a date night." Miguel suggested.

"what are you guys gonna have a candlelit dinner at the snack bar?" tory chuckled.

"look, there's nothing more romantic than free hot dogs and chicken nuggets. plus they're Adelaide's favourite." Miguel smiled.

"free? not for you. you gotta pay up, Adelaide gets free." tory grinned.

"you two gotta wear costumes. It's 80's night."

"are you kidding? I love the 80s!" I exclaimed.

"dibs on Anthony Micheal Hall in weird science." Miguel said with a toothy smile.

"I dont think you have to call dibs on that." I blurted out laughing. "anyway." I continued again, "I think ima go as Claire Standish from the breakfast club." I smiled as I switched positions.

hawk walked in and Miguel stood up and went to talk to him, he told me he felt bad about everything that happened at Coyote Creek, so I am assuming that's what the conversation was about. they talked for like 2 seconds did their bro shake and Miguel came back to us. "boys solve problems so easily." I whispered to tory, she snickered, "for real."

"everybody fall in." dad instructed. "today we'll be learning one of the most important lessons a cobra kai could ever know."

"where's sensei Kreese?" hawk questioned, "yeah. shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" chubs says before deeply exhaling, "or not."

"Mr. Kreese will no longer be joining us." dad stated, I grinned widely as Miguel gave me a confused look and a confused whispered broke out. dad paused before continuing, "I made a promise when I became your sensei. to always look out for your best interests. despite how hard this may be for all of us, he didn't have our best interests at heart. John Kreese may have founded cobra kai, but he no longer represents what this dojo stands for. his cobra kai was old and outdated. he refused to move forward. what happens when we do that Mr. Diaz?"

"you get stuck like cement." "exactly. to be a great fighter, you gotta learn to adapt. this creed on the wall... follow it to the letter, it'll make you strong. it'll make you formidable. it will also make you an asshole. cause that's just black paint on a white wall. but life's not black and white. more often than not, it's grey. and it's in those grey areas where Johnny Lawrence's cobra kai... sometimes shows mercy. doesn't mean you can't be badass. it's still a requirement. but you have to learn to think, not just with your gut... or your fists... but to really use... this." dad explained aggressively tapping jabbing his head.

"Which leads me to today's lesson." he continued grabbing a board and smashing it with his head as the class started laughing in shock. "head butting." we chuckle again. "grab a partner."
