Ella and sophia head to the car.

Their clothes damp from the storm. Their hair matted  and stringy. There was no avoiding getting the seats wet.

A buzzing sound went off in ella's jean pocket. Surprised that her phone still worked after all the water. She pulled out her phone. The cover case was blue with a panda printed on it.

Ella had seven missed calls and three text messages all from her mom.

Mom: Are you okay? Where are you? Please get home the weather is getting bad.

"Who is it?" Sophia asked warming the car and putting into drive.

        "My mom." Ella said.

"Just the woman we need to talk to." Sophia said than made a burn out and sped to Ella's house.

As they drove down the roads, there was small cracks in asphalt. Trees bent in a angle and branches laid out on the street.

I can't believe I cause this. Ella thought as she stared out the passenger window.

They pulled into the drive away. A lump filled up Ella's stomach thinking that they might possibly know why she can do this to the weather.

As soon as they walked through the front door Angela and Mason hugged Ella and Sophia.

"Oh thank God you're okay." Angela said her voice sound relieved.

"Yes good thing you didnt get hurt out there. The weather just got ridiculous all of a sudden." Mason exclaimed.

The tv was on the background turned to the news.

"Let me call your mother, Sophia. Tell her you're okay." Angela said as she walked into the kitchen.

Ella slowly walked towards the tv, afraid to hear all the damage she has caused.

The news lady explained that there was a freak storm, a 6.8 earthquake and a hurricane just on the coast of California. Showing the streets lined with rumble of the now destroyed houses and flooded.

Ella fell on the couch and covered her face.

      "Oh God." She yelled.

"What is it, sweety?" Ella's dad asked.

      Sophia spoke first.

"There's something wrong." Sophia started than looked at Ella. Her face strained with worry and disbelief.

Angela came into the room, looked at Ella than at Sophia. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Mrs. Bloom, I think Ella has been controlling the weather." Sophia informed them.

They looked at Ella than at Sophia at the same time than started to laugh.

"That's crazy, Sophia. Sure she can control plants, but the weather?" Mason said.

"Its true!" Ella shouted as she jump up from the couch. "I caused the storm. The weather changes with my emotions."

"Honey, do you here yourself. Yes you are special but you can't control the weather." Angela said.
