"Hello? Are you awake?" A faint sound came from the other side of the room.
"W...h....what ha...p...pened to....me?" My head still spinning with confusion.
"Remember me? Joe?" I could barely hear him "I'm ringing up an ambulance or something. You need help!"
"NO!" i instantly think of what my mum will do to me if she finds i've ran away. "I'm sorry I shouted. Just....please don't!" I get up quickly and sit on the edge of the bed. "Look. See. I'm ok!"
" Well. If you say so. Please take it easy this time though."
"I will. You have to trust me."
"I will. You need rest so i'm going to leave. If you need anything, call me."
As Joe exits the room I stare at my watch. 9:00 pm. "Wow this has been a diligent day!
