I ran out of school so nobody else could make fun of me. I decided to go out a different way which leads to an alley way, so nobody would walk this way. It was longer to get home but at least no one will find me. To get into the alley way you had to climb through a bush and squeeze through a gap in the wall.

When I got through I saw the year 9 boy walking down as well. He turned round and waited for me.

"Hi, Are you OK from yesterday?" He asked me.

"Yes I'm fine, Thanks for standing up to me." I instantly thought not to tell him anything about school, about everyone picking on me.

"Good, Oh how rude am I, I didn't ask your name!"

"Oh. My name is Elizabeth. Well you can call me Lizzie as thats what I prefer. What's your name?"

"Bob."

"What?"

"That's my name, Bob!"

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."

"I know. Don't worry about it. Anyway why are you walking this way no one walks this way unless they're sad."

"Well I could say the same to you. But I'm walking this way because I wanted to be alone. Or with someone I trust." I tried really hard not to say the reason why.

" Oh I'm the same. You see... People at school made fun of me for helping... Well helping you. They thought...well you know... Going out."

"Well...people made fun of me cause of the picture people put up on Facebook. Everyone laughed at me. No one knew the true story."

Bob grabbed hold of my arm and stopped me. He pulled me over to a bush and we stood there looking at each other.

"I'm so sorry for you. I know it wasn't your fault." Bob whispered in my ear.

"Um... Ive got to go I think my mum has just rung me. Bye thanks for walking with me."

"Ok meet me here tommorow please I need to tell you something even more important." He scribbles down his number and passes it to me. "Call me if you need anything. I'm always here"

I smile back and rush back home.
