Chapter 39 - Best chapter ever!

My eyes suddenly opened. The cold, fresh air blew around me. My head was resting on a soft pillow.

A tall lady with uniform came up to me.
"Are you okay? Don't worry you've just...."

"It's alright I'll take it from here" A recognisable voice interrupted. "Where can I start? Maybe from the bit where you ran away?"

A delicate tear fell down my soft, smooth face. Memories of what happened came back to me. Bad ones. Except Joe. Was it all a dream? A dream...

"I'm sorry." I wispered to my Mum. "I'm so sorry."

My mums warm hand rested on my hand "It's okay" As she wispered into my ear. "Be careful you don't rest on your hand though."

I stared down at my pale hand and saw a tube going inside it. What!? I said to myself.

"Don't worry sweetie, its all okay. They had to calm you down so they put you to sleep. But nothing major happened." My mum tried to calm me down.

"What happened? Joe. Zoe. Alfie. Bob..."

"The doctors aren't sure yet. But its going to be fine. J...."

The door opened wide as a small man walked in. Was it Joe?

"I'm going to leave now" as my mum kissed my cheeck.

"Hello, do you still remember me? Are you okay"

"Bob?" I murmered

"Yes! Hello! Are you doing okay? I missed you so much." Bob excitedly said. "I've got something for you." He searched under his bed and pulled out a box of heart shaped chocolates. My mouth started to water.

"Are...they for me?!"

"Of course they are who else!" He opened up the box and gave one to me.

"Thank you."

"I need to go. Hope you get better"

I couldn't help but stare at him. All the memories of him and me came back. When he helped me. When he gave me his number. All the pizza pranks.

"Wait!" I said as I stopped him from going. I supported myself up and gave him a kiss. "Bye" I smiled to him as he left.
