Y/N POV
i was on the couch just thinking about everything with my mom and cassandra. why are they back? there was a knock on the door taking me out my thoughts. i sighed and walked to the front door then opened it. tatyanas friends karen and alexa. where's natalie?
alexa: hi mrs cosentino
she said smiling. i smiled back and let them in.
karen: is taty is her room
i looked back and nodded then they both ran upstairs to her room.
kinda wanna go on a walk. i closed the door and went up to samuels room to ask if he was hungry. it's already 3:30 so it's the time they get hungry. i opened the door and saw him watching netflix.
samuel: hey mom
he paused the movie and sat up a bit.
you: i was gonna buy Chick-fil-A what you want
i asked.
samuel: um (wtv)
i nodded and walked out his room and closed the door. i then went to brandon's room.
you: what you want from Chick-fil-A
he turned around fast from doing his homework.
brandon: (wtv)
i closed his room door and went to tatys room.
you: what you guys want from Chick-fil-A
they told me what they wanted and i also asked mattia and kairi. i grabbed my keys and as i was about to leave taty said something.
taty: can we come mom
she asked.
you: yeah let's go
they all ran to the car. i'm guessing for the front seat but taty made it first.
i closed the door and walked to the car. i was about to drive off when someone knocked on my window. my head slowly turned to the person and i saw my sister cassandra. i rolled my eyes and rolled down the window.
you: what now cassandra
i said with an attitude.
cassie: listen me and mom are sorry please forgive us! i need my older sister
she said while smiling. i laughed.
you: no! that's what you always say "i need my older sister" if you needed your older sister where were you for 20 years huh?!
cassandra stayed quiet.
you: exactly just go back to california or wherever you used to live! i don't need you or mom i'm perfectly fine with my family!
i snapped.
cassie: what about your kids they need a grandma and tía
oh my god do they ever go away. snakes always come back.
you: they already have a grandma and many tía and tíos! my kids don't need snakes in there life!
i drove off fast.
it was quiet in the car. i know taty wanted to ask questions but just stayed silent like her friends did. i don't and won't have them in my life even if i wanted them. they were gone for 20 years. why should i let them back in? i was hurt. sad. angry.
taty: who was that mom
tatyana asked. she already knew who it was.
you: my sister
i answered back dryly.
taty: is she my tía and your mom is my grandma
i could feel her smile. taty always wanted to meet my mom but i don't want her to.
you: they are nothing to you!
i snapped.
taty: what?! why?! i want them in my life!
she snapped back. excuse me. i slammed on the breaks.
you: go ahead! let them in your life and let them break you heart like they did with me!
i yelled and she flinched.
taty: mom they are your family
she said back calmly.
you: i don't need or want them ok! stop talking about it tatyana!
i snapped. then it went back to silence.
